I did not modify your post, but I will be glad to answer as I most likely would have done the same.
When posting if a statement is not a fact(regardless of who the poster is), the statement then needs to be qualified with an "IMO, or I think or I believe etc".
Does this need to be done every single sentence--No.  
It does need to be stated when using a new thought after a couple sentences or a new paragraph. It probably should be used when expressing something with subjective terms. So to post an IMO helps those that read quickly or less frequently know the idea is that of the poster vs that of a factual nature.
All opinions are welcome(with in site rules). Facts are welcome.
We(mods) do not feel a need to modify the rules.  Since this is a hobby and not job, it is easier to edit and delete posts of 7200+ members when opinions blur into possible facts.
One of the reasons etiquette emphasizes post brevity is simply to not have to repetitively post as string of IMO's. Sometimes this is not possible and is understood.

I agree the ATFR was awkward...but I believe for a different reason than it has anything to do with Nick and Vanessa.  I think they are worried about Rachel having, or not having, a following leading them into B'ette season.  They are trying to drum up a following, ergo, the reason for the announcement of her as the new lead on the WTA, and the stupid starting of her season on the ATFR, imo.  Last night's ratings were huge, and it wasn't because of Rachel, imo.

All the above is imo.  TPTB must like Nick, otherwise he wouldn't have landed the DWTS gig, imo.

Ok thanks for clarifying. When I post I usually try to open and close with an IMO when I'm posting something that's based on my opinion. That way it is clear that the post as a whole is in my opinion. I've not made a habit of posting IMO several times across strings of sentences because I did not think it was a requirement. I had understood the requirement being that you clarify that you are posting IMO even if you mention it once or twice during your post that message is relayed.
I see from your explanation why the rules may be different from what I understood them to be. Thanks.

IMO TPTB care so much for Nick & Vanessa's relationship that they created an entire montage of Raven post-sex first-orgasm tripping through town and Nick had to use paparazzi to get the info out there that he never had sex with Raven. That is how much they care for their lead and his F1 to make it look like something happened with the F2 when it didn't.

IMO TPTB are salty that Nick didn't deliver the trashy sex-filled season they chose him for. They had to settle for Corinne and her platinum vagine instead. Millsy was practically salivating talking about it in Julia's podcast that Nick got multiple opportunities but didn't take the bait (paraphrasing). I am not surprised to see that they didn't portray Nissa's relationship in the best light on ATFR through CH's negative questioning since Nick foiled their plans IMO.

Why was V up there without Nick in the first place? Have they ever done that with an F1 before? IMO They chose to do it coz they knew it was easier to get inside V's head and get her on that negative thought train than Nick who is smart to TPTB shenanigans. IMO TPTB are nobody's friends and don't care about anyone - just their RATINGS!

IMO Nick and Vanessa seemed happy and joyful in all the other interviews they have done so far - JK, GMA, Kelly and PEOPLE. I will be rooting for their happiness. I hope it lasts and this is the 'Great Love' they both had been seeking.

You did an excellent job, IMO. This is not fact--just my feelings.
ETA The majority of time, when I read a post(and I read most of them), I don't even see the poster's name as I am reading so fast for modding purposes.
If a great idea or comment sparks me--then I note the poster and will usually hit the like button. A lot of those likes are from me, I bet.

For sure, IMO. As much as Fleiss wants to put "historicness" into everything, Rachel being a WOC is not the only thing that's going to make people watch the show. Sure some new folks will but some folks will also tune out too. I am a WOC and don't care for Rachel. It's going to take a lot for me to sit down and watch the "historicness" next season. IMO, the way ATFR was basically done was to dim the lights on Nick and Vanessa and lighten it up for Rachel. It was more evident than past ATFR. The more they try to shove Rachel down my throat the less I like her.

I agree the ratings were because of N&V and IMO they delivered. They were trending and not for the reasons Nick likely would've wanted. Or maybe he likes all attention be it negative or what. Idk. JMO.

Because after 2 failed tv engagements, Josh would be someone Nick or anyone for that matter, would want advice from, IMO of course!

@Cila51290 And that is the way it will always work. For every negative word said about my favorite personalities on this show and they are FEW (but when I like someone, I'm totally a V). Negativity always has the opposite effect,IMO.

How long before Nick is on BIP again?
