Bachelor New Zealand - Season 3 - Zac Franich - Episode Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

My Fav is Rosie as my friends say the 'Snow White' one, Lily is so interesting and reading Tweets about her are so Hilarious she has been likened to Bindi Irwin. Bel is just a lovely young woman as is Virani. In fact, they are just lovely. I am interested in Lucus she has fab, toned body and seems very athletic (not sure about spelling) I would really like to see more of her. I suspect the producers highlight aspects re each one that they want to focus on with the intention of creating a certain perception. Maybe they are all pawns in a game. Though Zac is very genuine and focused. Nina also is a very interesting person.

Zac is adorable!  I'm really enjoying his personality. He's sort of awkward but seems like a real gentleman. I like that he's waited to kiss the women.  The pace is so much slower than the US version and just lovely to see.

Same as many of you, Bel, Viarni, Rosie and Claudia are my favorites so far. I won't mind if it's obvious if it's genuine. Loving this show!!  

So I'm running a fantasy league with some friends and running a chat room while we watch it live, it's all good fun. My team currently consists of Rosie, Sophie and Ally. Rosie is my main drawcard, she could just sit there and look amazing in dresses and make it all the way to the final 3 haha

I think you will go well with Rosie and Ally but I'm not sure about Sophie. IA agree Rosie is gorgeous and my very first though when she got out of the car was that she reminded me of Snow White.

So happy to be back on the Bachelor NZ thread and so glad to read all your thoughts!!

I really like the Bachelor pick for this season. I find Zac very good looking and he seems to be a pretty honest an guenine person which I like. He looks really awkward sometimes and I don't see him kissing girls quite early on in the process. I would say he might be a bit self conscious and really aware of the camera, film settings etc ... also the shower thingy with Jess seems to indicate that he likes to put distance at first and be respectful and stuff (don't forget mama is watching the show as well haha).

So far my favorite contestant has to be Rosie. Oh my god I can't get over how gorgeous she is. I have to say I'm quite surprised she is not really shown much in the episodes because to me she is a stand out. I totally agree with Karina who mentioned she has a "Snow white" look ... yes totally. She's got a "cold-like" beauty but her look and her attitude (also you can tell there is a brain perfectly working up there) make her so attractive. I wish they show more about her.

Then I really like Viarni. I feel like she has a F1 edit ... but this edit is so obvious it would make the whole season very boring if she is the actual F1.
So far I don't see anything special about Bel. She looks nice but I don't know ... I don't really see it. But now we'll have to find out the kind of girl Zac is looking for.
To me it seems that look is a pretty important criteria to him.
But also I think that he would be looking for a girl that would fit his outdoor lifestyle. That's why I think Lilly might go far in the process. Nina on this other side, not so much. Did anyone notice her really weird laugh??

Also I really liked he actually decided to send 2 girls home, especially Taylar (I liked Stephanie though). I think he saw right away that this would not be a fit ... and made the decision to say goodbye right away. He seems to know what he wants, or at least what he doesn't want, and I like that.
Hope she'll make it to her brother wedding !

Rosie and Viarni are my favs but I feel like Viarni is peaking too soon and he's probably not going to pick her. It's going to be interesting to see what happens with Molly since based on the season preview she kisses him. Who would've thought she would go so far after that disaster night 1 meeting

Something to do with dancing.

She meets him at some swanky estate. And they are learning the rumba.

Zac is a complete novice dancer - Claudia has done ballet and they are actually dancing pretty well.

They are very relaxed and comfortable with each other. There seems to be a lot of attraction between them.

Back at the house Katey, Luce and Hannah and having a nasty gossip session.

Sorry - got caught up with kids.

We have our first kiss and it was good!

So you are probably all wondering about what Zac said about the court case.

So in 2015 the NZ Kayaking governing body did trials to see who would go to the world champs to qualify for the 2016 Olympics. So Zac got through, was considered in the top two and was partnered with a guy called Darryl Fitzgerald. Now Darryl was normally partnered with another guy and refused to kayak with Zac. He pushed the issue and get Zac replaced by his normal partner and went over the governing body and took it to court. It was all a big mess. So in the end neither Zac or Darryl ended up going to the world champs so neither qualified for the olympics. Zac got shafted big time.

Group date

Bel, Ally, Molly, Katey, Sophie, Rosie, Luce, Nina

They are creating a dessert plate using timtams which I guess is a sponsor.

Luce and Katey win - I have no idea how - their creation was a mess.

Girls around the pool find out about the kiss and it's all good - there's no jealousy and everyone is fine.

This three way date with Katey and Luce is very weird - Zac is feeling like the third wheel. I don't think the girls would even mind if he wasn't there.
