Bachelor New Zealand - Season 3 - Zac Franich - Episode Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

@AllAboutLove This season is confusing. The editing is really good because the top 4/ F1 is really hard to figure out. I hope that they are just good at their jobs and not another Jordan season.

Art/Bach NZ S1 did the same thing with Poppy/F4 in his season. Art "destressed" when he was around Poppy. I see the same thing with Zac and Lily where Zac knows that Lily is a free spirit (Poppy was too) and not tied down to anything so it's almost like it is "Safe" for Zac to take her away and her reward for her helping him with stress is to get a rose.

add me to the list of confused fans!! seriously i cant work him or this edit out?!?! makes it interesting though IA just by that Bel was back late on sm makes me think she is def in f4 and ill say V,Liliy and claudia.....(but lilys htd would be in australia right??)

Yeah the editing is off to me as well. I'm not sure if that is because they are trying to hide something but even if so, it still seems a bit off as I think usually what they show is  somewhat the story... They showed what happened with Art on his season and they showed what happened with Jordan on his season and now they're showing what is happening with Zac on his season IMO.

I don't think Zac is another Jordan though. Zac seems more genuine and has shown more interest in the girls but to me the season and Zac himself has been declining... it started out really strong and now it just feels flat? It could be that this is just the part before F4 so kind of just "there" but on the other hand, Zac seems a lot more passive than he was in the beginning?

I honestly don't "see/feel" any connection with Zac and the girls that really stands out. I'd say Viarni and Claudia at this point may be the stronger connections. Even with the girls I like though, I don't "feel" it. That's just how it is some seasons though so I am just watching and sleuthing at this point to see who is F1.

Maybe it will turn around and pick up by F4 but even if so I do hope to see more initiation by Zac. It was fine in the beginning due to his nerves but now it's getting a bit too much passiveness.

He sent Ally home but I think he could have also sent home Vanessa and Karina.

Thanks! I thought for sure he would have sent Vanessa home on this last episode. I don't see that much of a connection between them. I agree with all of you that he is getting harder to read. IMO there's only about a handful of girls that I can see him interested in at this point.

I am not sure since I think he was becoming more passive before they arrived.

I will say though that the intruders didn't help the show, I think it hurt it. It may work on the Aussie show but for NZ I don't think the gimmicks like the White Rose and Intruders work. It definitely takes away from the show, IMO. I miss the magic of the first season and how they filmed/edited that. I even miss them NOT traveling all over the place. I actually find it more distracting and it becomes more about the location than the relationships.

Poppy who was F4 for S1, her parents lived in Australia but they flew over to NZ and had a HTD in NZ so if Lily is in F4 I could see them doing the same thing.
