My guess is he had no choice or if he argued to let her go early it fell on deaf ears.

Not holding it against him, yet. Now if he tells her he loves her while letting her go, I'll be happy to give him some side eye. laugh out loud

Honestly, IMO, it's a big deal. If he thinks she's in love with him, he should've let her go before the FRC. I really think TPTB hate women. Think what one will about Andi, she spared Nick the FRC.

CMIW but No Bachelor has ever let his F2 go early. I don't think TPTB would allow them to coz technically on the Bachelor, the FRC is just a RC for the F2 if the lead does not propose. On the 'Ette, the guys are the ones who are proposing and the audience doesn't really like to see a guy get rejected when he is down on one knee. IMO that is why the 'Ettes are allowed once in a while to let their F2 go early.

But that's it--he isn't in love with her and I can't believe off camera she thinks he is! This is TB. It's doesn't matter what "we want" its what they do. And they aren't releasing a woman before the FRC if they don't have to. And yes it is misogynist. That's what TB/MF&CO do!

I never said anything about him being in love with her.

I think Raven "thinks" she's in love with him. (Bubble love). Nick is savvy enough to know this. Why TPTB won't let him release her early was my point. It just sickens me how sexist they are.

I'm not saying you said he was in love with her, I'm saying I don't think there was any question in his mind that he was not. That is only thrown out there for the audience to swallow to think the lead is "torn". I don't even believe Raven thinks it. JMOAA.
As far as TPTB--it's their ballgame right or wrong. Their balls, bats, bases and rules. I don't care for it, but I'm not on the show. The ladies should know this by now and usually benefit with their 15 extended minutes/shilling either way.

I don't think for a minute that Raven was in love bubble or otherwise. I think she played a role to try get the Bette gig a la JoJo/F2. JMO
