Raven Gates - Bachelor 21 - Discussion - #2

She grew on me over the season. Such a firecracker she is. Can't wait to watch her on BiP.

It should be interesting to see what the perception is after BIP. If a bullet was dodged on TB, BIP will be like a barrage of bullets on crack.

I legit felt all season like Raven was shown her storyboard by TPTB and was given a script of what to say. She played the F2 role perfectly from TPTB POV- the over confident F2 who presented no obstacles and was all in for a proposal. Contrasted with all of the angst and doubt they shoved down our throats with Vanessa, she accomplished to perfection leading the unspoiled audience to believe she was F1.

Agree. She gave Nick such an easy time. However, I do think she was trying really hard not to cry. She barely looked at him. He was very stoic, almost overly.

I am sad to say that I just don't see this working out for Nick and Vanessa.

I thought Raven was very composed and gracious last night. I'm glad she has agreed to BIP & hope there is a good crop of Rachel's guys who are cast. It is interesting to watch to see the choices people make when they have more than one guy or girl to choose from.

IA she was like JoJo was for me on Ben's season. She was just there, doing her job, having fun. Falling in love and being engaged was the last thing they wanted with their respective leads IMHO.

Raven looked lovely last night - her makeup really enhanced her eyes. She was gracious and regardless of how she felt inside, she came off with class. I am actually disappointed she is doing BIP - wished she would go back to law school and get that degree and slay some villains! But going on BIP could help pay the bills. I loved seeing Nick being silly and fun with Raven on their last date - I find that more attractive than the seriousness that he projects when with Vanessa.

I think her boutique does well. That is a great accomplishment IMO and she is only 25.

If rachel was not picked earlier to be bachelorette than hands dOwn it would of been raven. When Chris said raven you have an announcement and said she will be on BIP I felt like it was nothing special.

It still makes no sense why she is in NYC (if that pic is current) as there are more direct routes from Arkansas to LA than NYC so no idea why she would do that. But hey this season makes no sense to me so I guess she can still leave for LA later tonite or take the red eye flight from NYC to LA.

I don't understand why Raven has to cover up her stand for the FS night with Nick....I am not sure if she is trying to be mysterious, coy or naïve...I would rather she says I don't do show and tell... her statements seem to imply that something has happened, while RS is trying to protect her by exposing what Nick has said...this is like he said, she said... why can't she just be honest and tell the truth...I bet more people are hating Nick because they think he is such a douc** for misleading Raven and taking advantage of her...this shows so much how she'll be willing to do something by being told to do so regardless of whether it will hurt others or not...it is rather sickening for me to see and hear that though...if she has intentions of creating drama and generating Nissa fights, she is no difference from the others who really wish hell for them...
