So from this I'm guessing that none of us knew her parents were divorced. Interesting, that Nick knew; so much on the cutting room floor.

Sometimes I think there is a code the couple develops between them during filming. The yellow bracelet could have been one obviously. They may have had an unspoken other code.

Pretty much. Nick said in his People blog that they spoke about their families on their first 1 on 1, along with their hopes for the future, etc. and they didn't show any of that. I think we can all agree the editing on this season has been pretty choppy and bad.

I do like how matter of fact Vanessa talks about her parents' situation though. It's pretty much yeah they're civil but don't exactly like each other.

Her brother is a red head.
