Shocking...NOT. We knew that no matter how it really went, edited version wasn't going to end well.

Totally understand Vanessa and her father being concerned about it but Nick was doomed either way and he probably knew it with all the blessing business so IMO he made the best choice (in his opinion) that he could at the moment which was to ask for the blessings of all the fathers. Had he not asked for blessings, in a different way that would have upset the women/fathers. I still remember how pissed Jojo was last season that Jordan didn't ask for her father's blessing at the MTP. Nick probably just didn't want the last few days to be consumed by him having to get a father's blessing.

That would be fun for a high school/21 year olds relationship not a 36 year old man trying to settle down

This reminds me of the teenage hijinks that was around every country road in the small town Midwest where I grew up.

I love the getting down and dirty dates but again I was raised a lot like Raven was. In fact about 90 miles from Raven hometown .

Watching with my brother, he thought the police stunt was funny/cool. Rolling around in dirty swamp water, not so much. Also pointed out that Nick struggled to life Raven

Not to mention all those flesh eating bacteria lurking in stagnant fresh water areas, leeches, snakes, etc.

I'm older then Nick and I still love to go riding ATV and playing in the mud. Keeps me young. LOL
