Elan likes to butt into everyone's convo. But especially with Ben and Lauren.

I think he was just joking, because Chris is always hanging around the Bachelor women at events.

The one thing that I found telling in that FB live is that Ben said one of the hardest things for him was how after two months of being the centre of attention and everyone pumping him up, suddenly everyone was gone after the proposal and it was just him and Lauren. He said it was a weird transition. I would think that most people would be relieved to finally be left alone with the person they supposedly want to spend the rest of their life with. For Ben it was "hard". I think he really does love the attention and is bored when it's just him and Lauren. That's probably why he was dying to do HEA, so he could be the centre of attention again. I think he caught the fame bug and now can't imagine actually settling down like a normal person. JMO.

I didn't follow really closely during B and L's season, so maybe I missed something, but did Lauren give her reasons for leaving Alaska Air, or did she take a leave of absence?  Someone mentioned it might be challenging for her to perform her duties as a flight attendant since she had been on a reality show - I was a flight attendant for a major airline for 30 years and one of our attendants was a regular on a TV soap opera while she was also working for our airline, and it didn't seem to interfere with her duties.  Not that many people watch the Bachelor, so I find it hard to believe that many passengers would recognize Lauren IMHO.

It appears their relationship has ended or will end soon. My personal opinion is that there are two sides to every story, even if weighted a little more on one side than the other.  I see a lack of maturity on both sides.  It may be true that Ben is insecure and needs lots of support, but I also wouldn't be surprised to learn that Lauren thought she may be able to follow in the footsteps of some of the prior Bachelor or Bachelorette winners and find something more glamorous and less strenuous than being a flight attendant. Blogging would be far easier than flying!! By the way, living in Denver and being based in LAX would be very normal - many pilots and flight attendants commute to their home domicile by air - I commuted out of state for most of my career while also raising a family.

All of the above just my own personal opinions and observations

Lauren posted on her blog IMO a very sweet Valentine's Day tradition her family has done. She posted notes from their Valentine's Day last year about everything they love about each other. Ben seemed to love Lauren's patience and acceptance of him. IMO, they aren't breaking up but probably have fallen off track. I wish them the best and I hope Valentine's Day helps them rekindle and remember what they love about each other even if it can be a struggle. Love isn't easy especially IMO when you have Lauren who is such a giver being the oldest of 4 siblings and Ben who is an only child.

I don't get why is it necessary for Lauren to post all those SM activities while the breakup rumor is flying around. IMO, it's not being real, it's being a PR campagin hoping to get the public sympathy.

Well, but since she stepped out of the Limo, IMO, all her acts are a total PR campaign, not buying what she has been selling, at all. Not back then, not now.

Well, if they aren't breaking up and have just fallen off track then they might want to, ya know, actually spend time together to try to fix things. To be honest, the past couple of months with these two have been some of the oddest I've ever seen with these couples from this show. IMO

^^ Yes they have been acting weird but they also are the first couple to have to go through the most hardships IMO. First with the Ben's ILY TO two women and then their own reality show( which I agree they did it )

Didn't he say somewhere, that he wishes the fans won't forget them, even though they're not on tv any more? I thought that was weird thing to say, tbh. IMO he needs constant coddling and adoration, IMO normal encouragement from his partner isn't enough.

Ben is a nice guy, but he just annoys me so much tbh. IMO

 I won't take us off topic by naming other couples, but in reality, it's not easy for any of these couples. This is an absolutely ridiculous way to meet someone and it's a miracle that some of these people end up having long term relationships and relationships that lead to marriage because of this show. It's hard work for all of them. 

Ben and Lauren, separately and together, have done a lot of things that didn't and haven't put their relationship first. All JMO.
