They've lasted over a year now, but I do wonder how long they truly would have lasted without filming HEA. I wonder if they would have broken up sooner or if this show just killed their relationship.

I will say that while it was sweet seeing how enamored Ben was with Lauren, I never saw them have any sort of relationship with depth. JMO

Well I guess we can officially stop giving them the benefit of the doubt. Us mag tends to be pretty reliable when it comes to Bachelor gossip.

Anyway, if you have two birthday celebrations with your friends while your fiancé is nowhere in sight then that's just weird no matter how you slice it. JMO.

I remember thinking it was a terrible idea doing that show, that they should focus on their relationship but they kept saying it was ~different~ and ~not like other reality shows~. WELP. They've both said how that show negatively affected their relationship. I think a big part of relationships is learning how to be together, factoring in another person in basically all your decisions, how to have disagreements, how to work through them, how to compromise. Over a year later, from what I've seen, they didn't seem to know how to do any of those things. I don't know if they would've lasted without the show but I definitely think it stunted their growth as a relationship. All JMO.

Yea, him being hesitant or "ready" to marry her really was the lowest blow, didn't think they could recover from that. Like I said before, if a guy isn't "ready" to get married to you he might never be. All jmo. It's sad.

What makes me laugh is the interview they gave in LA when the season premiered about their non-existent wedding before immediately and literally going their separate ways on the red carpet. These couples and their behaviors are truly classic.

And whether or not they would have broken up earlier or the show killed their relationship is also the most interesting part to me as well, @Ash2214. Inquiring minds want to know!

IMO everything changed since he postpone the wedding spending Christmas apart her girls trip staying 4 extra days with Amanda her Nashville trip acting immature and drunk and then Ben leaves to Indiana and returns the days she leaves and IMO he was obviously ignoring her texts and she was upset and called him out on twitter

IMO although it doesn't look good, gheez every relationship has its difficulties but I don't think they have broken up. I don't think I'll believe it until we hear from them, people or ET (both are the outlets that have posted info after speaking to them directly in the past).

IMO I feel so sorry for them, moreso because it's Lauren's birthday tomorrow... time will truly tell.
