Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #5

A sense of normalcy is what is needed for these Bach couples to thrive and succeed. Glad they finally figured that out. Now I'm a bit more optimistic about them.

On Juliet Litman's podcast Ben said he has returned to work full time for good. He said it was at Lauren's suggestion. I'm thinking they're full on track to back on normalcy. IMO Ben has been lackung direction, getting back to his work ftom before bach might be good for him. Jmo.

Not much else was said. He only talked about episode 3 of The Bachelor.

I hope Lauren gets a small dog she can carry around when traveling, or slows down on all the traveling soon, otherwise what's the point of even getting a dog? IMO.

On the other hand, why slow down until she has the dog? Ben is on a work trip apparently, so he won't be sitting at home, its a nice opportunity for Lauren to take a trip with friends.

@Cocoasneeze it was mostley related to this weeks episode of the bachelor but i still enjoyed it. The only thing that i can remember off the top of my head that i hadnt heard before was Ben talked about having a parasite after coming back from Hondurus and was sick running fever, throwing up all the time and lost a bunch of weight while he was filming the bachelor. It was the reason they cancelled the cocktail party in the Bahamas. That was interesting to me, just because ive always wondered what were to happen if one of the leads was ever really ill.

Sounds like he was happy and in good spirits.

I might be in the minority, but I like the fact, that Lauren and Ben do independent stuff away from each other. IMO its healthy.

I don't see anything wrong with the trip. I'm just saying, in general, in order to care for the animal, I would hope she slows down the traveling before she gets the dog, or just gets a small dog she can take with her on her trips. IMO.

I was thinking the ski trip was just for the day. It's not far from Denver and seems like his friends go quite often. That might have been on Sunday and that was when Lauren really started getting sick plus she was was asking on Twitter what to eat pizza or Chinese. So I'm thinking that was just one day. I didn't think it was a weekend thing. As for Ben going back to work good for him. They both should stay away from all the TV life and make a new life with their friends. I don't see anything wrong with Lauren going on a little trip(I assume little) since Ben is gone but she seems to be doing alot of single lady trips

These two continue to do things separately and together and that's what works for them IMO. Being attached at the hip and molding into one person isn't their relationship style. I enjoy that they can go off and do their own thing, because that's the type of person I am in a relationship.

Lauren loves to travel. It was literally her job. Ben's away working. These girls have money and the freedom to live it up while these opportunities are here.

I was thinking too Lauren suggested he go back to work but what about her? Does she just act like the regular bachelor/bachelorette contestants do with their lives. Nothing. How long will Ben put up with that. Nothing against lace but not sure she is a good choice for a trip. Hey I want Ben and Lauren to make it just like the next person and I believe doing things separate is good especially since they have been connected at the hip since the filming of he's I just hope Lauren stats on track and wants to get a wedding started and not get side tracked.

Lauen does have her blog going. I have no idea how successful it is. She's also done jobs here and there, for Alaska Airlines. Perhaps her career is on track. JMO.
