I don't know if Ben was asked or not, however I do recall from what I was told, he had knee surgery, he wouldn't accept an offer from DWTS even if asked.

RE the wedding. 'ettes - Trista/Ryan, Ashley/JP - televised TB's Sean/Catherine, Jason/Molly - televised - Two 'ettes and two bachelors. Am I missing anyone?

Why is she speaking out for televised weddings. Whatever happened between Des/Chris and TPTB is none of her business just like none of them care about her wedding plans. Is she assuming their wedding wasn't televised because she was the 'ette?

She's too busy to plan a wedding, why is she complaining.

Since she was the lead, she has somehow come to the conclusion that she's the spokesperson for several different unjust practices by TPTB or by bullies, or people choosing to have sex if they want to. IMO everything that comes out of her mouth is for her own selfish reasons, and has nothing to do with anyone else.

Those who choose to have sex will, just like she did, those who bully will, just as she has, those who have televised weddings, have been offered, she hasn't. Her lunatic "voice" and ways makes no difference IMHO.

^well said ! She just want to be relevant ! Anyway, by what she is doing talking about dwts gig now . What she can get? She thinks MF will go to dwts people and ask them to cast her so that she will be happy . Hell yeah! She just want to talk and talk and be Kaitlyn the famous bachelorette that can say whatever she wants. For sure MF is laughing his a** off looking her sm tweets and media mag interviews .jmo

Remember that great thing for Christmas you wanted so badly and Santa did not deliver?
Or the grade in college math you thought you should have gotten and did not?
Or maybe the job you didn't get? The date to prom?
Maybe none of that has ever happened. Maybe no one has ever gotten sick, been rear ended not due to your own fault or lost a loved one. That would be great.
I think these things do happen in life.
This is MFs ballgame. He makes the rules. It may not be fair. It doesn't matter to him. IMO he could not care less as long as his show is re-newed and he gets ratings.

I agree. Also i want to add this... she talks about wedding because people keep asking Her for the past 2 years, and she tells the truth. She wants ABC to do it or waits until july and get money from people magazine (Ali doing the same , so its fair)
She talks about sex because they made a freaking story line about it (same as nick/andi situation that they have to still talk about it)
she talks about bully because people gave her hard time (same as olivia)
the only thing is that she is big in social media and thats who she is. she was like that even before the whole bach things.

We know what she wants @Dina, it's obvious she's been begging for a wedding. The answer she should have been saying is they will wait, they are enjoying their engagement, not "we don't have time to plan" and on the other hand, daring ABC to pay for the wedding.

Nick made it clear, SHE invited him to her room. It takes two people to have sex. She is the one who continuously made fun of Nick post filming and during interviews knocking him down.

She bullies back just as bad. Calling MF out on SM is not bullying? Pick up the damn phone and deal with it, rather than trying to show the SM world just how badazz she is, as if that's a good thing IMHO.

Hopefully, she is in touch with reality and realizes after this it's doubtful MF will send a gift off her registry more-less offer up a paid for tv wedding.
Maybe one of the stations can offer up a new spin--Celebrity Wedding Rehab style.

Apart from the drama which is very entertaining IMO, Kaitlyn's meltdown IMO has ensured that the next bachelorette would be given the opportunity to do DWTS if she wants it. Rachel is a terrific dancer IMO (that NOLA dancing   ) and I would be very happy to see her on DWTS. Thank you Kaitlyn!

This is the reason I think they don't push the Ettes for DWTS... the timing of the show. It may make sense for the "relationship" standpoint, but that is not what MF and TPTB are about no matter how much they say it.

With TB, DWTS starts immediately after the ending of his show. He is still relevant in the press due to all the media rounds they do. Essentially if someone has loved watching the person as TB, they can continue to watch them every Monday night starting the next week. No downtime at all! Mentions of the show each week they progress through the season keeping the show relevant.

But, the Ettes... their media rounds have been done for several weeks and they really aren't the #1 thing to the press anymore. The last few years, there has actually been another franchise showed aired between the ending of the Ette and the beginning of DWTS. At the end of the Ette season, fans would have to wait all those weeks to see them again and IMO many fans lose interest in that period of time! For reference, Kaitlyn's season last aired on July 27, 2015. DWTS didn't start airing until September 14, 2015. That's 7 weeks and an awful long time...

Just how I see it and all IMHO

If Kaitlyn's meltdown has ensured that the next Bette goes on DWTS then to be sure Kaitlyn will take CREDIT for that like it's HER doing and any Bette owes her thanks, etc, etc. IMO.

Anyway, I disagree and don't think for a second Kaitlyn's meltdown will do anything to make the next Bette get a spot on DWTS. Especially since this was already in the media that the next Bette may be on DWTS and long before Kaitlyn's meltdown and I think will have more to do with other people/factors in power than Kaitlyn, IMO.

Considering how narcissistic Kaitlyn has shown herself to be IMO, I guarantee that if Kaitlyn was up against the next Bette for getting a DWTS spot she'd make sure her followers troll that other Bette and get people behind her so she gets it instead.

I could see Kaitlyn still getting on DWTS in the future now, they always cast the most random has beens so it wouldn't be weird. I do think it's unfair that she didn't get to go if she was offered a contract and forced to turn it down, so I'm on her side there, and it does seem like more guys have done it...and no recent Bachelorettes. I honestly thin Fleiss' not supporting Kaitlyn though, has more to do with her snapchat spoiling her season. But also, Hollywood is rarely fair, men get paid more and get paired with way younger women for roles . Thus id life. jmo.

If MF is applying different rules for the women than the men, I think he deserves to be called out on it. That show is worth a lot of money. No, I don't think she'll get cast now, but she can affect how MF treats future bachelorettes.

Obviously we don't know the reasons for sure, but I can understand if she's frustrated. Should she take to twitter every time she's frustrated? Probably not, but at least the question is being considered.

Since it pertains to Kaitlyn

Former Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe spoke out recently about almost doing the show, but claimed Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss wouldn't allow her to compete. Nick Viall is going to be on this season. There have been four Bachelor leads on the show and there has only been one Bachelorette and she was on the very first season. Why haven't the Bachelorette leads gone on to do the show after their season?

Edens: There's no rhyme or reason to it. In some seasons it works out and some seasons it doesn't. This season we wanted Nick.

Can you see why the fact that there have been more Bachelors on the show than Bachelorettes is troubling to viewers?

Edens: We had Trista [Sutter]. [It's] based on when we're casting and the whole cast we're pulling in and what other reality we already have in place.
