To me, his acting is not that good. So it seems like (to me) in most of his interactions he is going through the motions and is almost bored. Even with Dani M. it seemed to me as if he was just repeating the same old same old with some empathy thrown in.
I think production will have to hide his interactions with Vanessa in order not to create such a vast difference in his interactions.

I don't think she is ugly. She is an attractive woman...as are all of them. She does look tired though.

Nick just looks kind of bored on this date. Maybe he's distracted because Liz is there.
