I can't believe how happy he is looking at her. On the plane while they are sitting he just keeps staring at her and I lost count of how many times he initiated touching her one way or another...snuggling into her hair at her neck, kissing her forehead, trying to keep her safe and to relax her.

I need to see all the stuff we missed building up to this connection and that was only episode three! How bad is he going to be at proposal time?

I cannot wait to see him meeting her family and Vanessa meeting his. I don't want to miss a minute of this and I'm probably going to miss episode 5 since I will be on a cruise.

It is a nice change.

I rewound the tv a few times to watch her "dance" down the stairs in her 80's gown entrance, she owned it, and showed so much personality, but I think you are right ^ she may be too much of a shining star in contrast to the other characters so they couldn't show us too much too, soon otherwise it might of been Vanessa by a landslide from episode 1....IMO

Just going by previews, IMO they are going to let us see their journey and chemistry beginning with this next episode. I have a feeling, it's gets really rocky in Bimini just after their next 1-1. That crying scene with Vanessa more than likely will cast doubt and edited so that we are left with uncertainty. Not from him but her. Will she say "yes". Oh, it's going to be quite the ride to his HEA. Again, JMO.

She may not say yes, but I haven't seen anything that hints at a still single Nick post show. If what MF described as happy tears on FRC day is a "NO", someone in production is a turd. I don't think Elan would have enjoyed the season quite so much.

@mprssdbyu - So is that where he "shows up" according to CH and so Nick tries to start building relationships with the remaining ladies? Is this where he searches his soul - what does happen if the lady he was chasing leave before the journey is over?

Vanessa looks so pretty in the clip.

Showing the Vanessa crying scene in previews plus showing Rachel and a less obvious Raven in Finland plus Nick saying in an interview that he was there for the experience more than the journey are interesting tidbits.

@notarose, how are you interpreting those tidbits?

My tidbits:
The theme of the show is "will she say yes" IMO. To me that says Nick does legit fall in love but tptb want 3 things to be ambiguous.
1 who is "she"?
Is she the obvious FIR Rachel who is obviously shown in Finland?  Is she the less obvious Raven who met Bella and took some time to see (obscured in the Finland pic). Or is she the one he never saw coming?
2 is "she" in love with him? So far we see clips of Vanessa having doubts and some ITM doubt statements by Raven.
3 yes to a future proposal, or a proposal at the FRC?  Nick saying it's the experience.  A journey ends while experiences continue throughout life so I take his words to be far more optimistic as to the outcome of the show.  Uncertain if a proposal happens in the typical timeline.

As to CH and his comment about Nick "showing up" , I think that means Nick was reminded that he would have to be more vulnerable sooner than might have been in his comfort zone toward those he was truly interested in, that it wasn't enough to just let the women take the lead so he could get to know them.  He would have to let them get to know him.

Or could it be that he has shown vulnerability to one woman only - obvious in those in the Vanessa dates - but he needs to be vulnerable to more than 1, in case "she" leaves.
