Oh wow. So sorry to see this. It was clear to me that he loved Sabel. Thankfully she's in a better place with no pain.

I have never been a Josh fan but my heart goes out to him with passing of his dog Sabel. We lost our German shepherd-lab mix unexpectedly in October. I never imagined how incredibly hard it would be....it is like losing a family member. I have always been sympathetic when my siblings' dogs have died but always thought in the back of mind that it was just a dog. I never got it until it happened to us. It truly is devastating. I still miss our dog every day.

RIP sweet Sabel.

Well, I couldn't find or muster sympathy for him over the break up or whatever this is with him and Amanda.  But for hearing about the loss of Sabel, I can.  She was loved.  RIP sweet Sabel.

They are indeed more than just dogs, cats, pets... They become family.

I have also never been a fan of Josh but his love for Sabel was unconditional and undeniable. This I do feel for him it is not easy. I lost my big boy during Thanksgiving and a piece of my heart is missing. It is just worse due to the holidays . I am also going to say I feel for Eddie too he cared for that dog for many months throughout the years.

RIP to Sabel. Josh obviously loved that dog with everything in him, I hope he finds peace as well.

There is nothing like them. I hope Josh can find solace soon from her love and memories.

I noticed that Amanda and some of her family members have liked and commented on Josh's picture of Sabel on IG. That's nice to see that perhaps things are amicable right now and their shared love and care of Sabel comes first.

I could be wrong, but judging by some of the comments on the picture, including MM's, it looks like Sabel's cancer might have come back. If that's the case, I would imagine Josh didn't want to put her through all of that again.

My heart goes out to Josh on the lose of his beloved Sable. Our pets become a piece of our hearts. RIP sweet girl.
