I'm thinking they told them not to announce anything, until they film something, and kept them hanging.

I think it's because he is very image conscious and takes himself so seriously. TPTB like people who get the joke and can make fun and laugh at themselves. Those seem to be the people they get on with, which is so not Josh!

Did he specify Bach show? I'd prefer never on tv again. And honestly don't think he's got to worry about it. I don't TPTB or anyone else, for that matter, is going to be chomping at the bit, begging him to make an appearance.

Besides, most of Bach nation will side with Duhhh, so I don't see girls lining up to fight over who his next flavor of the month will be.
