I think he has a special bond with V more so now because of her illness. Was it last episode where she got sick and could not attend the RC. It was kinda glossed over but I think more is going on behind the scenes.

Yeah. I was surprised we never got to see him giving her the rose. I remember in the US series, whenever someone would get sick, we would see the lead visiting them.
You could be the juiciest, most ripe peach, but there is still going to be someone who doesn't like peaches.

I think she took at chance in a different country under such a controlled environment and this make me think how adventurous can she be with this condition.

I think you're absolutely spot on, @LeapofFaith. Personally I don't think Bel has the 'IT' factor required of a Lead, but Viarni does. Also their date on episode 4 where they went shopping felt really 'promotional' to me, like when they do product placements. All points to Viarni for Bachette to me too.

I would be really interested to hear other peoples opinion on the following though it is not about Zac it does relate to the role of Bachelor.Zac is a lovely genuine guy, however, he must be under enormous pressure especially after last years debacle. Jordan did make a good point some of the contestants this year are too young to deal with the aftermath of being on the Bachelor.
Jordans tell all
Asked if the two finalists were aware that it wasn't going to last, Verhoeven said: "not to my knowledge, no". She would not comment further, saying she "didn't even know how to [respond]".
Mauger said media coverage of the break-up was "very untrue and very damaging".
"The girls who went and did the stories about me dumping them were heavily manipulated into dramatising it," he said.
Although Mauger claimed he started with intentions of meeting the right woman, he said: "I found out very early on that it wasn't the vessel I could do that on. And you can't get off at the first turn of a rollercoaster. But when it did stop, s... I got off, because I did not enjoy that rollercoaster."
Forming a relationship with any of the women would have been pointless, he said, but he was obliged to play the game.
"At the end of the show, the girls didn't really know me and I hardly knew them. The first real thing I did was I ended it.
"The first real thing I did, I got crucified for," Mauger said.
Almost a year later, Mauger said the only reason he could see for the outrage following the break-up was that TV3 wanted the attention.
"I didn't say anything because I was under contract. What I was going to say was under the control of the very network putting forward the articles that I was going to be in?
"That's why I stayed quiet for so long: there was a lot of manipulation and no support. What I found really scary is that they put me in an unnecessary position where the people I was under contract with should have been a lot more careful about the welfare of me and the girls."
Mauger said the drama following the show was manipulated for maximum publicity. MediaWorks refuted the claim, saying the first they learnt that Mauger had broken up with Verhoeven was after the show's live Women Tell All finale.

Does anyone know how many episodes are left? as i tend to agree that Zac and the girls seem to have little time together?maybe its just the shorter episodes but i feel like even the cocktail parties are cut short? even the GDs are small... it seems like he only speaks to 2 or 3 girls then dom comes in to end the night? also the girls do seem very young except Hannah, Bel and Sarah i think are closest to Zacs age...

No, hopefully, someone can work it out. Yes, time seems to be of the essence. Lily and Rose have the bit of Charisma, that something that will draw people's interest V is lovely and is compatible with Zac.I would like to see Lily and Rosie up there but possibly it will be F1 Viarni F2 Hannah F3 Bel F4 Claudia F5 Lily F6 Sarah F7 Rosie but Rosie and Lily would spice it all up otherwise it is quite predictable.

IA however im going with Sarah in top 4....i think next week in the double elimination Karina and Vanessa will go....then hopefully 2nd single dates will start...
ETA: IMO top 3 Hannah, Viarni and Bel just not confident on the order...im tossing between V and Bel as F1
