Yeah he was a bit cold I thought! Probably owed her a little bit more than that. Although I'd imagine he just wanted it over as quickly as possible.

I really think its sad the the production put so much importance in us not knowing that we miss out of a great love story, over and over again...

How do people think the editing could have changed to showcase the Alex/Richie love story better? Should they have demonised Nikki or tried to make her look bad at times?

I could feel the connection between Nikki and Richie. The grls at mansion could as well and Richies mum even said they had a chemistry, connection!? I guess Richie had a better feel for Alex but I just couldn't feel it with Alex.....anyway good luck to them and can't wait to move on to the bachelorette

Alex just doesn't come off as genuine IMO - probably a reason why there is so much hate on social media right now.

I dont think thats true. They could have shown less of Alex crying. Show more sweet moments and less jealousy. More interaction on group dates. Showed more of the conversations about prepping for being a dad. Oh yes and not have him talk about how he is not ready to settle down and wanting to travel with his lady so much. All that directed us to someone without a kid. That being said, Alex talks about how much her family is involved. So she will probs utilize them when Richie and her get offered free trips and stuff.

Production don't really care about the outcome IMO. Their job is to keep you watching so you watch the ads that are on in the breaks. That's how they make their money. They just hook you in sufficiently so that you now go out and order menu log, eat Lindt chocolate etc. sorry. I'm feeling very jaded

Not demonise Nikki, but show a bit less of the connection between them, and not given Alex such a poor edit. She was portrayed well in the first 2 eps, but went downhill into crazy obsessive from there. There still would have been people against them, but not so widespread.

I don't think they had to try to make anyone look bad, just focus on the Richie/Alex chemistry/connection, they did have chemistry but it didn't help the fact they focused on the wrong things like the drama and Alex's edit was not helpful and because of that most people didnt think she would be F1 IMO.
