Bachelor 21 - Nick Viall - General Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers* #3

When the show first premiered season one, ABC sponsored their own contest and this went on for years. It was cancelled the season after Brad chose no one.
Another forum also had a contest.
Prizes were given out for both. Good prizes IMO. The main prize from ABC was paid vacation for 2 to the location of the FD episode. The weekly prizes were good, also. I know as I won one.
So this is not new. Its a been there and done that. It's only new to those who never heard of it.

I believe the fantasy league also takes into account other random things like ehomtears, who gets drunk each week, etc. So some of those things aren't gonna be spoiled making the contest more difficult than just who goes home when.

Jokers did the same kind of things when they did their weekly contest. This went on for years. Again, not really something new, IMO, simply re-tread.

The blogger boy is fed by the Bach's TPTB (the "servants") - JMO (eta) ... he gets the info of the "edited episodes" before the season begins ... he promotes the show by speaking ill of it ... the show (eta: someone with an access to the filmed episodes) knows about him well enough to actually care to give him a crumble every season, without giving him the recipe or the ingredients ... and he proved long ago that he isn't capable of baking a pie himself. So does TPTB really care about his opinion? - No, IMHO.

I have it from good authority --very good authority--the editing team signs contractual clauses of confidentiality. They risk being fired should they be caught spoiling and leaking info regarding the show. Their inability to honor their contract will reflect on any free lance editing coming in and most of these editor rely on this to survive. I know this first hand. This is NOT my opinion. I have heard this particular franchise TB is even more incestuous and tight lipped. So--I seriously doubt leaks come from editing.
Do I think TPTB care about RS. No. However, I do not believe RS is getting any kind of leak from higher level production.

I will revise my previous post/opinion: I have no idea who gives the info to RS, I wasn't even thinking of the TPTB themselves, but people involved with the show (it may be whoever on the chain ... for all I know, could be the grip person, J/K). Since how else would he know what we are going to see (and not everything that was shot/said/done) ?... but somehow despite all the "clauses" to protect the secret, RS is given the "first look" of the show ... so he "can" talk about it and sell it to his followers. Thanks Kasha for specifying the confidentiality of the people close to "the higher level", since I don't want my SPECULATIONs result in some misinformation. There are just my guesses, as good as the ones given by RS himself.

I was looking at the bachelor fantasy game and there are different groups you can join. I noticed some different podcasts/ twitter accounts that regularly cover the bachelor had made their own group. I wondered if maybe someone would want to make a group for those that follow and discuss the bachelor on here? There seems to be more questions beyond the typical spoilers of who goes home and who gets a date that week.

Hey everyone......just saw that RS's spoilers are up. Will update the filming schedule and charts this afternoon sometime and will post so if you see anything from the previews that doesn't mathc what RS says.....I'd love to hear about it. Even if there is something that backs it up or looks strange, would love to know about that too....thanks to everyone for the help!!

The only thing I want to know from RS's spoilers, is what he says about Kristina Whitney and Raven. If anyone can take the time, please pm me. Other than that, I could give a rat's azz about Reality Steve Carbone.

Watching the show over this morning again, Last night was the best first night I have seen after all these many years. I still like Vanessa and Rachel.

It looks like the editing is playing up the "will he be rejected" angle so that leads to believe Nick really is engaged. I fell asleep during the limo entrances. I just can't get in to this season but I really want to see who will emerge as the new bachelorette.
