Oh it's all so dicey isn't it. There are a few reasons I think they are different days. The boardies, Nikkis tan marks (and lack of them in the cocktail party) and then there's Nikkis regrowth which to me looks slightly more prenounced in the romper than the couch and rose ceremony. Argh it's all so exciting

Richie wore those shorts on his 1st date with Nikki, so myvbe if you can get the s/caps from the 2nd episode to compare the swimsuit.

You are correct! Now that there are more pics, I think it's more obvious that he is wearing a different pair on the pier with Nikki.

Hmm not too sure anymore those shorts seem to have a print on the back pocket that looks similar to the ones he wears on the pier

I disagree - If you look at the bottom photo you can see what looks like a flower or something similar on the back so IMO its the same board shorts as on the pier
