It is fine. Hopefully it will come up again soon. Actually, in that Olena thread, there is a photo of Olena's family (page 2, scroll down). It is an old photo, Olena looks very young. You can see her mother there...do you think Olena's mother looks like the person you saw on tv?

I agree Natik. Also the 2 seasons where the doubt wasn't with F1 (Blake's and Chris Soules) but with F2 (or some other down the line) the lead wasn't that much into his F1 to begin with - and the break ups soon after prove that - IMO.

I also agree that the whole story of "being closed up" and "mysterious" is indeed The story they (TPTB) are selling ... but it's not a reality. It might be true that Olena was reserved about discussing her relationship with Richie to other girls in the house and in her own ITMs/POs ... but that doesn't mean she wasn't opening up to Richie. Actually that incredibly persuasive word "mystery" was strategically placed from the night 1 and continues to appear every time when Olena is being discussed ... and that word is meant for us to hear and believe it ... or to make us curious ... either way ... she isn't hidden, just carefully painted as a woman we don't know much about ... other than her beauty (that we are being reminded every time by whoever opens their mouth, that Olena is a stunner and a princess). But you really think Richie doesn't know much about her life by now?

If you think that Olena asked Richie sooooo many questions about his life and his views/beliefs/ideas (confirmed by both and seen a small part - about kids and relationship) and that he answered them ... she just by nodding or agreeing with has given him enough of information about her own views ... So what's really a problem here that he doesn't know about her?
It's all in the issue of trust (game 1 won, let's see the next challenge in the nature) ... of confidence (edit shows there is) ... of opening their heart and let emotions prevail ... it's the only battle Olena is fighting at the moment, but seeing the episode 10 and consequently the aftermath ... she is already overcoming that ... still, the "doubt" keeps being placed in the POs and the conversations among the girls ... and guides us to the end.

To go back to Richie ... seeing his time with Olena that Natik posted ... you can see him being himself, that Richie we see in the interviews, on radio shows, witty and confident and a charmer ... that's the extra characteristic that he shows with Olena. He wants to charm her, he's not being passive and like many before said, with her he is animated. He wants to be the guy she can trust and who leads her to the new adventures ... and their 1st SD was just a start.

The issue whether they are compatible ... we might not know enough to judge any of them good enough to know ... until the end of the show and even later the questions remain and only time will tell. But 3 things they do have in common ... they both like surprises (And that's not so random ... since many people say they do, but most prefer to have a heads up or control over) ... they want to experience life (together) first ... and they were both taken away by each other from the start (said in their ITMs) ...
that "love at the 1st sight" story ... that has no explanation ... but it is written on official SM. (which just like last 2 seasons was more than "in your face" with it) - all JMO.

I couldn't have said it better!   I am starting to wonder if you are not one of my work colleagues. Here in Australia is 11.OOpm (Friday), thankfully I can easily work from home as the academia is very flexible, but today I haven't done much writing. I do feel guilty about my obsession with The BAchelor, I wasn't like this a week ago :P but oh well, sometimes we just have to enjoy our 'addiction' ;)

It reminds me of my first seasons of sleuthing. I was doing my phd and i would spend entire days sleuthing and checking the forum for new messages hahahahah.
Now i still check the forum from work sometimes but i can only sleuth on week ends.
Miss those days.

ALl in all, i also share your addiction and this time around i've been hooked because of Rikki but now i'm more a Rolena.
I still find Rikki sweet and all but I relate more to Rolena story.
I love both girls and Richie.

Oh, you too did a PhD! I am basically the same because I am now at the final stage of my PhD (but I also do research and teach part-time at university), so I am here instead of writing my thesis, but since I fund my own research taht is fine. I already have all my data collected and analysed, that is why I feel that I am allowed to procrastinate if I am not inspired :P  I can't wait to finish my PhD! I am sure you know the feeling of being very very close to finish your PhD but not quite there! You can almost touch it but there is still work to do I think The Bachelor is a good way to relax while I am in front of the computer having a 'thesis-break'.

I am all for Olena now, even though I initially thought the winner was Nikki. Nikki is lovely but I just don't see her with Richie, I think they are very different people. I think after all these years in a relationship that in the end didn't end in marriage, Nikki needs time to enjoy life as a single woman.She doesn't really know what is to be an adult and be single, and how is the dating scene. She is missing out a lot of good experiences! She should take her time before starting a new relationship, that is JMO

Thesis-break! That is the right word. I wish I knew you at that time, that would have helped me be less tough on myself for not being writing my thesis and being obssessed with The bachelor.
I remember the most fun season for me was bach CAN 2 and I even did videos of Tim and April footage for the whole season. That might ne because I was living in Canada looool.

And I also remember April being so real and a bit reserved on camera but she caught Tim eye from day one.
By the end there were such a huge doubt on their relationship that almost everyone was rooting for F2.
I think im a sucker for real and normal girls .

I can't say this is similar cause there were less chemistry between Tim and his F2 than between Nikki and Richie.

IMO, it was a love at first sight moment for both Richie and Olena, so unless something happens leading up to the FRC, Olena will be F1 for sure. JMO

I'm thinking Rachael will be a dark horse and could take this out.

You could be right spangler. Rachael and Richie seem to have alot in common, including living in Perth. At this stage though, nothing beats the passion that he feels for Olena - he literally melts when he's with her. JMO
