There were a few other things that were interesting:
- when she told him she was falling in love and said she knew he couldn't say anything back.
- When she said she knows how much he likes that she expresses her feelings"

However, their farewell was quite awkward IMO and their kiss wasn't passionate. It felt like to me that Richie was put off by Nikki's declaration of love.

Richie has definitely kept working for it even with all the challenges so it could be he is willing to do whatever it takes even if she is not on the same page as him, imo. In some ways Olena's edit and with Richie reminds me of Chris Soules and Becca and constantly pushing her but with the Bach AU if there is no engagement then there isn't the pressure there so the result could be different.

Regarding Richie picking Olena for just the intrigue; according to the interview excerpt below from OK mag that Loulou posted in the SM thread....the way Olena explains her relationship with Richie is completely different IMO to what the producers showed in the edit. From the franchise series, we know that the producers have a character build out for each contestant, just wondering if it was "mystery" for Olena and they kept giving Richie that soundbite to use....all jmo.

Olena: What convinced you to stay? With Richie and I, there is fire. The conversation really flowed – behind the scenes we have really good chats, the [producers] don’t show everything on camera.

OK Mag: You’ve been portrayed as a ‘mysterious’ woman on the show. How do you feel about that title?
Olena: It was OK the first and second time, but heading towards hometown dates it was really frustrating me. I don’t think I was mysterious; I just didn’t want to give the girls too much of me, and with Richie I felt like we were OK and I opened up to him from the first date, it was just mostly behind the scenes that we had such a laugh.

^ Interesting then that the show has edited to show Olena as mysterious and Alex like she is crazed.

I always think there is more on the editing floor for sure but what they choose to show paints a picture and narrative so it will be interesting to see what happens in the next episodes.

Do you think TPTB will change Olena's edit in the next episode and show her opening up to Richie and being less mysterious?

If Olena is F1 then definitely, imo. Her edit will change a lot I expect and any "doubts" resolved by FRC.

I also think they can spin "mysterious" in a positive way where Richie embraces that and is seen embracing it rather then saying he is frustrated so it is seen as resolved that way too.

I'm still holding out hope for Alex to be the F1, I see the most spark with her and just love them when they're together. Just don't see it with the other girls, I don't think Olena is a match for him at all and I'm not crazy about Nikki. Don't like the things I've read about her and not sure she's who she pretends to be

Snez also had chemistry edit but she was also the mum so anything can still happen.
And i think maybe she is F1 and that's why Olena says all the time Alex truly loves him.

Just rewatched the HTD for the little grabs of them speaking individually. (Forgot the abbreviation). Looking for anomalies. Just on a side note and I didn't notice it before the is a random huge savvy brands (Nikkis sisters store) bag on the bench in Nikkis HTD. They seems to manage to get it is shot quite a few times. Nothing like a bit of subtle advertising.

Apologies as I haven't read all the posts yet - but have they advertised F3 as a shock exit? I remember they did for Heather before her exit.
