So she chased it that IMO is what fuels the chemistry and passion for her. She is following her pattern.

So is KW right for her, yes, for right now he is.  But I'm sure at some stage of the game she will look back on it and know it was another life lesson she had to learn to find her true person. Because she will finally open her heart to someone not because it was right for right now, but because loving someone knowing they may die when you are old and grey is worth the risk even if it hurts like hell.

As for Mikhel, he deserves so much more than someone who was never going to choose him and even if its hurting like hell right now, I'm sure he has learnt some life lessons as well and the things that he perhaps liked or didn't like about Jasmine he can now choose someone who is completely right for him. As I'm sure he has learnt a tonne of things he likes and doesn't like about himself.

As for Kevin, this is going to be a hard lesson for him too.  His way of dealing with issues that are uncomfortable for him and I predict will come to the forefront when the finale is aired and there will be some inevitable backlash as there is every season.  He needs to put this into perspective and realise thats what he signed up for and retaliating by going on a rant (ticking time bomb, "I have so so much to say") will not help his cause or the backlash so I'm hoping thats not what he does.  He will need a lot of soul searching to make his relationships work as well including putting your wife or girlfriend first and not your mother will be a start. Because standing up to your mother in law is one thing to say, but can create a lifetime of conflict not only between you and her but also your husband and most times it never gets resolved and unfortunately I have seen many a strained relationship crumble because of it. But he also needs to reassess the way he deals with conflict as it needs to be addressed or he will also continue the pattern of finding women who are with him only for the drama and quite frankly thats not fair on him either. But only he can change if he is willing and not because someone wants him to.

So thats just my opinion and who knows I may be pleasantly surprised by all of it in the end, and one can only hope.

Hear, hear!  Well said, @Fifty.  JMO too.  It is part of their journey and who knows what the destination will look like.

For me, it is with hindsight in my own life that I can appreciate the qualities that  Mikhel will bring to a relationship with Jasmine and what the two of them would experience with Mikhel's family.  It is THE reason why I get so invested.  I totally accept that leads pick whoever and I don't get "mad" at them; any disappointment or heart-felt feelings on my part reflect my own journey through life.

I would like to know what proof we have of Jasmine's type? Do we have any proof of previous boyfriends and those that always left her? What type is Kevin? He has a solid job, he's involved in charity, he has his own place and he's close to his family. He expressed without difficulty how he feels about her.

He had a difficult time dealing with the thought of Jasmine and other guys. So did a ton of other contestants. Mikhel had difficulty communicating. He walked away as well after the RC because he was so stressed out and confused, he just wanted to go home. He couldn't tell her what was wrong on the catamaran date. She has to pull it out of him.

That IMO is definitely not Jasmine's type. Personally I don't think Mikhel is her type at all, that's just my opinion. If she chooses him, I'll be very happy for her because it's her choice.

Yes she did. However IMO does that mean in looks? Tattoo's,? or because he appeared very confident? They couldn't possibly know anything about him in such a short time. Jasmine's family all agreed Kevin was her "usual type".  

After meeting KW, her sister's comments that:

"He looks exactly like the guy I would expect to see her with."  [She's even laughing when she says this - as if he's just so totally her usual type it's comical to her]

Then her mum's comments:

"Kevin seems to be what I think Jasmine tends to gravitate towards.  The good-looking, charismatic... you know... that type.... He seems somewhat kind of like a ladies' man.... He says something about Jasmine has changed that.  I'm not sure exactly what, but in my experience those things don't really change."

And Jasmine:

"He's a really outgoing guy and he's really social, so he gets a lot of attention from women.  Like all the time."

This pretty much confirms for me that he is Jasmine's usual type.  The type she acknowledged in the first episode had not worked out for her in the past:

"I'm also looking forward to the fact that I'm going to be pushed to date such a variety of guys because it might not be... you know, like maybe you're just constantly choosing the same type of guy and then that's why it's not working out - for whatever reason."

I agree Jasmine needs someone who would challenge her a bit. During her SD with Mikhel, when they were doing their graffiti, she said she wanted him to challenge her a bit because she's very bossy by nature.

Her mum and her sister expressing he is her type, might be some insight that he is the kind of guy she normally chooses and if you look at who she is following on her instagram, the amount of tattooed, long haired and bearded guys (note KW now has a beard) is her type and as much as people don't like to admit, sometimes your family know things about you that you are unwilling to see for yourself. This isn't whether or not Kevin has a good job, is a hero or a has big heart because its quite obvious he does, however as we have seen and as Jasmine has expressed with concern in the promo as well, she says "you left twice". So the question isn't what is Kevin's type or what category he fits in, but he is HER "type" because he has already shown her he will leave. She has said it, and correct me if I am wrong, with Kevin P that guys have left or she leaves the relationship.

And yes, the bachie bubble has its issues, but the fact he walks when he is uncomfortable in the situation is what SHE likes. And yes Mikhel had issues too there was no doubting that, he just conveys it in a different manner and something that doesn't attract her to him. It's not a judgement on Kevin's character, thats just how he is and its what Jasmine likes otherwise you would head for the hills. Because the reality of it is whether he is a hero or not, I, like many other women wouldn't put up with him storming out. And as I said, its not a judgement on his character, its just not what we like in a guy. And as I said above, No I don't think Mikhel is her "type" because right now she isn't looking for what he can provide including the lack of "fire" she is searching for. So it isn't about the guy, its about what she wants right now. And that is what I was trying to convey. This was of course expressed in my opinion from what we have seen on TV, of course if people have been privy to information we are unaware of about Kevin, that is something entirely different. But like anything, you have choices in life and you need to stick by those choices without regret. And like I said, Kevin is not for everyone and neither is Mikhel, we all choose who we want to spend our life with, we just need to be aware of why we did.

I agree wholeheartedly with you, which is why I wanted to express what I did. Its often the journey and not the outcome that is important.

Here are some thing's I've found. IMO Jasmine knows what she wants, it's up to her to decide what she needs. If she or anyone likes guys with beards, I wouldn't expect them to change their preference because their family doesn't like guys with beards. That's just to crazy for me to even understand.

The way I look at it, is no one can tell me what I need IMHO. My mother thinks I should find a husband, someone to share my life with. That's what she thinks I need, that's not what I want. I already did what she thought I needed, I already married a nice Italian man, which lasted 12 years. IMHO I don't buy family knows what someone needs, speaking from experience.

Call me confused again. LOL We are discussing Jasmine's type and I don't think we really have anything to confirm from her own mouth on screen that has given us any idea of what is her type. Jasmine in a VO states "oooh, I don't know if I would date him" when she met KW out of the limo. So, by first impressions he wasn't her type.

We do have her on screen saying ITM (Ep 7 1:1 ) "I feel really comfortable, and wanted, and desired and safe and I feel better then ever. Getting through conflict, especially for the first time, it tells a lot about the relationship, and how it is going to be in the future and I feel closer to Kevin now" then directly to Kevin she says "even since out first 1:1, I feel there is a solidness to you and I can count on you, I feel like you can handle yourself, I really like how ...you are strong emotionally, as well as physically, you are like a man, a man in all the ways" then ITM again "there is a real potential for love with Kevin, there is an unexplainable kind of a connection we have. I feel the intensity we have, and I can see myself falling in love with him." So, in her own words that Kevin walking out (conflict) they worked it out and made them strong together. So, with them having another conflict and a great FD night after they worked it out, will this make them even stronger?

Jasmine reflecting her journey with Mikhel has had no conflict until she says until the RC after HTD and his reaction and then his communication skills or lack of. Very interesting stuff IMO and KW and J story is being told by Jasmine and how KW answers her concerns either to her face or to her family or to the camera.

Just a few things to share that I think is the story arc of KW and Jasmine. The only question does Jasmine take the chance of KW leaving her or has her own inner conflict with KW she just can't take that chance with him because Mikhel's love has surpassed all the conflict. We shall see!

Kevin seems to be what I think Jasmine tends to gravitate towards. The good-looking, charismatic... you know... that type.. , even when Jamsines said it I laughed. I've never seen these characteristics as a negative. Just thought it was strange then & now...
