Watched from the 15th hole today thru all the playoff holes. Absolutely unreal! He was so composed & gracious!

We were watching nervously until Nick’s incredible putt! So exciting!

The Canadian golfers in the galley were so nervous for Nick Taylor. He just made Canadian sports history with that putt/win.

If you have any interest in curling, have ever watched it, or you're Canadian you should check out this podcast, Broomgate: A Curling Scandal! It's on the CBC Listen App, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify app or at least those are the place I know off. I just listened to episode 5 which seems to be the ending but he said there would be a bonus episode at some point. It's so interesting to me and funny also.

For years, players have been too afraid to talk about it. But now, the truth about a broom that almost destroyed curling is finally coming out.

@albean99 oh wow thanks! I love watching curling. I tried it once, it's not as easy as it looks!

It's definitely not, @GuardianAngel! I've played in a few Funspiels when we lived in Belleville and I really enjoyed it but wasn't all that good other than sweeping (and probably better in my head than for real ). I love watching it but we seldom get it here. Our grown up sons are thinking about trying it here although it's very limited in Dallas as you might imagine.

@albean99 good for your son's. It's a great sport. I'm afraid if I throw a stone I won't be able to get up. I'm with you, I'll stick to sweeping.

There are a quite a few tournaments across Canada so there's always a match to watch during the fall/winter months.
