My take- Brittany is desperately trying to keep her name out there in the media
I don't think that's what happened though. Brittany is saying that she has proof that he was cheating and lying throughout their relationship. We've now seen him in the present lying about it even when he could have said or done nothing. He has a string of women who feel used and/or bitter towards him. I'd say those are pretty serious red flags about how he treats women. There could be a pattern that when he is done with the women, it becomes obvious to them that he never cared for them to begin with. I get that he was a player, maybe the girls should have been wiser, but at the very least, Brittany/his long term gf shouldn't feel that way. Having said that, I like JoJo and Jordan together. They make sense in so many ways and I love that both families are so supportive. I hope he's changed or that these allegations have been grossly exaggerated. He seems to be doing fine so far with JoJo. Just the fact that he moved for her is promising.
It's easy to see that someone like Chris Siegfried is one of the good guys and that some others are not. Jordan is still in the gray zone for me. I think there's still some chance that he could turn out to be the prolific liar that Brittany describes. He better hope that they don't break up anytime soon because even if some say she ignored the red flags, pretty much everyone will assume it was his fault. The vitriol that Brittany got will be nothing compared to what Jordan would get. I hope he's madly in love, because he is so trapped by all this now that I almost feel sorry for him if he decides this match isn't right for him. If any part of Brittany wanted to break them up, she miscalculated this end result. BBJ is now on high alert not to screw up. Maybe and on the bright side, all this will turn out to be exactly the kick in the pants that he needed, not only to be the man Jo deserves, but one that can look back with pride on his marriage and family in the way that he described his grandfather.

I think Jordan is still in honeymoon phase whether it be show honeymoon, lust honeymoon or love honeymoon.
All new couples go through a honeymoon phase, imo. The phase lasts differently for each couple.
Maybe JoJo is the one and he will change a bit for her. I do think eventually his real self will come out and that is the person people came out and spoke of. This is my opinion. To me he is like a chameleon. He is what you want him to be and what he wants you to see him as, until he grows tired of that game and moves on.
As for geographically moving, and blah blah blah...that really means little to me. People do that all the time. It's not a big investment for him(financially, emotionally etc) when he travels or will be away half the time anyway--or 1/3 the time or 1/4 the time...whatever. It is what it is.
I'm a very jaded person. I have seen all kinds of crazy things in my life. The families getting together for a dinner-nice. Again, means nothing to me in the long run.
What matters to me in the long run--is the long run, I guess.

I understand the scepticism that surrounds Jordan, but maybe Brittany was not a good match for him for the long haul. Anyone who publicly blasts their ex on SM does not show me a person of great character. I'm sure Jordan has made some mistakes too, but if someone is truly happy, truly content, there is no need to look elsewhere. Brittany seems very vindictive, while JoJo doesn't seem to have a mean bone in her body. JoJo might just be the perfect person for Jordan, imho. Sometimes that is all it takes to change your ways. Time will tell.

For me, it's the same thing with every couple that comes out of this show or in real life. They will either last or they won't. Hopefully they last and if not hopefully they can look back on having a great relationship and not feel the need to tear each other apart like other couples from these shows or other couples in real life.
They're no different to me. Time will tell. It is what it is.

Any decent partner, any decent individual, will break it off first, before they go looking for that *something* with someone else. People make mistakes, and I don't think there is a question here that Jordan hasn't been boyfriend of the year and has made more than a few poor judgement calls. Hopefully he's learned from the past and is trying to do better by JoJo... And will continue to do so, once life becomes more mundane for them, they settle in, and all things shiny from this exciting honeymoon phase start to fade a bit.

I find Jordan underwhelming on so many different levels.
It still baffles me why she chose the "fixer-upper guy" when she had the "move-in ready guy" signed on the dotted line. And before anyone even thinks of posting "The heart wants what the heart wants" let me say "That's why humans have brains, too." I wish that Soraya had done this after those MTP dates:

I think two factors play a role: the person and the relationship. As in, the individual and the individual's relationship with their significant other. They are both vital when it comes to relationships, but one more so than the other or vice versa depending on the situation, etc. For instance, someone can have a really negative reputation, but with their significant other everything just makes sense and works. They don't need to explain their quirks or issues with the them..they just GET IT. It's that unspoken type of bond in a way. It just fits. Like with Jef and Emily, even with his negative reputation of sorts, I never thought they had THAT relationship to back it up. I don't they think just GOT one another or had that unspoken bond...they just weren't compatible at all. It all depends on so many things IMO.

Definitely. It should be about following your heart and using your head as well. Ultimately, no one is perfect, so you can use both your head and your heart, but there's going to have to be some give or take. That's how it goes for every relationship.
Her runner up (still one of my favs) got new teeth and was schilling himself out on social media the day he landed in the good ol USA after getting back from Thailand. It is what it is. In most relationships, there's some fixing up to do because it takes work to make a relationship work. JMO

IDK. I personally liked Jef/Emily and loved Jillian/Ed. I could have written some of the posts defending Jordan, just like sub in Ed's name or whatever. I'm keeping my distance this time... Because I feel like I know how this one ends.
Clearly I've been wrong before though, not like wishing them a broken engagment, it's just not something I can get excited about.

It's just different strokes for different folks. JoJo would only have chosen Robby if Jordan never existed. Same for all the other leads and their F1's/runner up's IMO.

I think Jef and Emily were on two different planets. And it showed immensely IMO.sosleepy wrote:IDK. I personally liked Jef/Emily and loved Jillian/Ed. I definitely agree with you there. Of course, we have the benefit of hindsite. Before things blew up, Jef and Emily had a TON of fans who believed in them very much.
