JoJo Fletcher - Jordan Rodgers - Bachelorette 12 - Discussion

I just don't get why it is such a big deal. They weren't married or engaged.  This happens all the time. Two people are in a steady relationship that goes stale. Before they officially break up one of them goes out with someone else.  

My take- Brittany is desperately trying  to keep her name out there in the media

^ for Jordan who is in public eye now and famous is a big deal . Because he talked on his interviews that the rumors of his exes are not true and carelessly talked about them. People and media will keep talking about it and will keep judging him wether he likes it or not. Jordan should care about it coz there is a truth about these rumors at some point but he decided to let the public know it was all bs Atleast jmo.

They look pretty happy at their engagement dinner right now.

It's very sweet that Jordan's family flew in to be there.

Awww the families are together. That's cute. And it was a surprise! Who set that up..?

This is their private business.   This break happened before he went on the show while he was in private life, it should stay there in their private life.  In my view the ex-gf is very mis-guided in making this public.  The public does not need to be involved in this long ago break up.   I think Jordan handled it very well that he acknowledged that he was not his best self in previous relationships.  That he had some regret and that he also had hurts from previous relationships.  Enough said.  The rest of this discussion should be private.  The ex-gf now is totally responsible for this media mess and I think she should stop it.  I think this is very hurtful to Jordan and JoJo and she should apologize to them.

A few thoughts:

A. What a great surprise by both Jordan and JoJo's family and friends with the surprise party! It's a good sign they have family support coming from both ends.

B. When does Jordan's SEC job start? Soon, right? Do we know how long he'll have to be away? Do we think JoJo is doing DWTS? It's fabulous things seem to be going well for them so far despight the odds stacked so far against them- but this, the separation I'm guessing will be the first big test.

^His first appearance is scheduled for August 23rd. Based on other analysts' schedules, he will be traveling/gone minimum of 3 days for Saturdays during football season (travel Friday, shows all day Saturday, travel Sunday.) If he isn't doing Saturday coverage he may get away with only 2 days a week but I doubt it.

His new job starts this week. From everything I've gathered, it will be a weekend thing during the football season, but he's heading there early this week probably because it's his first week and it's all just starting. He's a studio analyst so he'll be in studio talking about the games, which usually happen on Saturday's for college football.

The good thing is that a lot of what will be talked about will need to be on the fly stuff since I'm guessing he'll preview some of the games and then talk about the results of some of the games, so he can essentially just do his "homework" on the teams/games at home in Dallas, so he should only be gone on Friday's and Saturday's. I could see JoJo going with him every other weekend, so they should only really be apart about 4 days a month until the college football season is over.

With that being said, I don't know any of the behind the scenes details. In reality it shouldn't be too difficult for them because the majority of the time they will be together.

Tennessee's first game is on a Thursday so others may have games other than on Saturdays. I guess it just depends what his job entails.
