They are very similar and he's having trouble just fully opening himself to her and giving in without being sure he's the one. I get his fears and I think she's the perfect fit for him long term because she's going to love him and be fully giving and open because that's her nature.

Even now, freaking out, he is soo confident and well spoken. Good for him!!! He is tough. And he'll be tough for her when she needs love and support and protection, and she will.

And the family soooo obviously knows he's the one!! No doubt.
