Seriously. I'd never speak to my mother again if she ever took to SM to relentlessly defend my reality TV life and showmances. I don't even want her defending my real life.

Per the bolded: Several possibilities.
1) after many years of marriage he may realize it would be futile and possibly suicidal to cross MM.
2) he could be the original box of rocks. BOX 1.0
3) he could really be a blow up doll...like what people use to get  through a car pool lane. Or like Bernie at weekend at Bernie's.
4) he could have crossed MM years ago and subsequently ended up a 2) above or really pissed her off ending up a 3).

MM is doing exactly what she is accusing others of with her tweets and tagging people. The hypocrisy is mind blowing.

I guess the BOR didn't tumble far from the boulder.

Indeed. It's like these people have a massive blind spot when it comes to anyone named Murray. She says they don't fight h@ters while replying to every negative tweet she can find.

Armchair psychology, of the worthless speculation variety would be that she let her "baby" out of the house to play professional baseball at age 17, when it was not the right decision for him in hindsight, and that this over-attachment pattern has its roots in that trauma. It is known and discussed by both of them as a very sad and awful time for everyone. Separation, lonely, injuries, no great athletic success, etc. And it messed up his re-entry -- he goes to UGA where baby brother is the biggest star of the SEC or at least Athens ... he plays second string on THAT team ... Mom goes to every UGA game, etc etc etc.

In a way, the healthiest thing for Josh would be to stay in California married to someone, and make the break.

Josh screams Arrested Adolescence and Anger Management disorders. There I said it. I"m dumping on everyone tonight!!
