I liked her but was never sure about him. That's something they should have screened for imo.

How do you screen out pot smokers with so many communities passing or contemplating passing legalization? It's just so complicated these days, just as every teenage girl I know of seems to consider herself as bisexual.

I don't mean a drug test although that probably isn't a bad idea. I would think they'd ask is someone is a social drinker so why not pot smoker? After this they should put it in their questionnaire because it would be a deal breaker for a lot of people.

Two people with different substance problems does not a good couple make. JMHO.

Well, among other things, don't we all agree that the Plot Point included in the Matchmaking special about the "EXPERTS" inability to find spouses for TOBACCO smokers should have disqualified a POTHEAD? And when they aired and edited that episode, Kinetic was already aware that one couple split up in some fashion related to a smoking habit?

What Bride would be welcoming of weed smoke in her home, and resin on her windshields, when she found cigarette smoking a deal-breaker!

This show is a farce. They can't screen out a regular weed smoker, and yet participants should trust them to arrange a blind marriage? He concealed it for weeks, but then five seconds into his honeymoon lit up a joint?

Remember Derek said he doesn't smoke when they talked about the wedding gift. After saying that why then would he ask for her permission to smoke pot which is illegal in Florida. #storydoesntaddup #ineedproof

You can't be completely normal and want to marry a complete stranger at first site on TV IMHO. The unicorn we all want on this show doesn't exist.

i wouldn't be surprised if these 2 were donezo before the D-day, as suggested by the tabloids. Heather seems making good money from her job. She has no financial reason to put up with Derek's issues any longer, if the said cast being paid until D-day is true.

also, the experts's rationale -just because their age - for pairing these two was so lame..IMO.

Five second's into the honeymoon? Thing is, to me he looked stoned during the filming of the wedding. In fact, that's what I thought even prior to reading about issues related to smoking pot or any issues at all.

I would wait and see how it plays out
