She donated 15 pairs of shoe? 3 Large bags of clothes?  Darn how does someone has so much shoes and clothes?  They went salsa dancing things are going well and he has a surprise for her. He got her the engagement ring to go with the wedding band and gave to her on the beach. It was just lovely.

Congrats to the sleuther who picked out the ring in the pic! Sorry I forget who it was! Great job!

This isn't gonna go over well, but, something just rubs me the wrong way with these two together.  I'm thinkin  things are going to be one sided as time progresses.  Don't get me wrong, both are lovely caring people trying to/making things work. That's commendable!!
What bugged me was Tom complaining about Lily's bra collection in the Jamie discussion.  NOW it says in the post above, that she's gotten rid of shoes and clothes.  Why? Because, IMO, perhaps Tom felt she needed to.  Again, just my opinion - my assumption.
The art place.  The assignment was draw the dolphin picture.  I understand free souls, go your own way type of people, but, couldn't he have just drawn the damn dolphin and perhaps do a different spin on the background, or whatever??  Nooooo, he had to go TOTALLY against the actual assignment (which is the whole premise of going to these places) and do what HE wanted and didn't give a hoot about what was asked of him.  He went sooo far outta the scope that he had to draw a SHARK and a guy on a surf board....Whaaaat??  Someone who does that is unwilling to change and almost go out of their way to prove their need to be different.
Lily has high hopes and her life plan includes working hard, getting financially secure and live a "comfortable" life....IMO, not living on a bus, probably an upper class style.  
Tom wants to walk around in bare feet with a beer and complain that Lily's working too much,  even though she NEEDS to, in order to advance and get to the higher priced listings.  Real Estate is a cut throat job.  Ya snooze, ya lose.  You gotta hustle.  Don't know if anyone noticed, but, IIRC, Tom's job description went from Yacht Designer to Specialist.  Petty, I know, but, in actuality, Tom probably works putting boat interiors together.  A job where, when there's work, he works, when there's not, he doesn't. NOTHING wrong with that, it makes him happy, all that matters...sometimes!  It's almost like he wants Lily to change to HIS lifestyle.
He's still keepin his bus and wants to just travel around, while Lily wants to work hard to achieve a better quality of life.
Sure, they have great sex, as they've let everyone know, BUT, that don't pay the bills.  Eventually you get outta bed and behave like an adult.  Sorry, no offense to anyone.  Again, all just in my opinion.

Two people who marry may not really know each other, even if they have been going together for a time. It is only in the day to day living that differences and similarities come to the surface. Couples who live together for a time before marriage see more of these characteristics, which may or not be a good thing.

That being said, I respectfully do not agree with most of your post. I think as time goes on both Tom and Lillian will continue to compromise. They both seem determined to work hard on their marriage. JMHO.

I agree, something about Tom really bugs me. IMO he is a jerk. If Lillian wanted to get rid of clothing because she wasn't wearing them, then great. But it didn't come across that way to me. IMO, it sounded like she got rid of things because he wanted her to, not because she wanted to. Then there was the whole thing about her shoulder the other week. I did not like how he acted about her choice to handle hr health the way she wanted.

Thanks for the welcome. I honestly hope they DO continue to grow together. Tom just comes off, to me, as rigid in his beliefs and mannerisms. IIRC, he stated last week that he wasn't gonna change for anybody - in the one on one camera time narratives before final decision time. I know there might have been - probably was - more to that statement that was edited out to give people (me - LOL) the impression he wasn't willing to change.
I see Lily as a person who is sweet and really wants to be married and have children. Just hope she doesn't lose sight of what's important to HER and HER quality of life. I don't know if I see bus living in her plans for the future...LOL
I'm totally willing to agree. People change, circumstances change, as well.
