To me, it just sounds more like one of those canned responses that the leads are told to say so as not to give anything away.

As for the slow burn and seriousness issues, I guess, for me, those could also be taken two ways. Yes, Georgia could be talking about Matty since she clearly brought up the fact that initially, she didn't see much with him and then it was all kind of fun, lighthearted stuff. However, I could also see her initially thinking that maybe her attraction to Lee was one sided since he took so long to make his moves. Also, they just did all those dad jokes/puns, so maybe she thought that was all there was going to be. Their relationship progressed just as much and to me, Lee has also stated his vulnerability about his feelings for Georgia...just as much as Matty. Amazingly enough, I, as cynical and cold hearted as I usually am about this show, have found both Matty and Lee to be very sincere and genuine when expressing their feelings for Georgia and their worries about the relationship and where they stand with her.

The other thing brought up was Georgia picking Cam for the extra time after the dancing date. I guess that is not that big a thing for me since I am so used to the US show where the leads are usually told who to pick for that, so that the love gets spread around and tptb can highlight the drama or maybe someone they may be interested for the next lead. It is usually so producer driven, that it is laughable. You can see that they would much rather give that group date rose to someone else, but they come up with some totally lame excuse to give it to someone the producer wants. I cringe more often than not. The issue with Lee's age also appears to be one of those producer driven answers since there has to be some kind of hurdle for them to overcome. Heaven forbid, people have a smooth path to love. The difference in ages is brought up because Lee is supposedly all ready for a family and Georgia is not, but didn't he state somewhere that he also wants to wait? So again, it seems to me another producer contrived obstacle vs a true problem.

Over all, I would be very happy if Georgia picked either Matty or Lee. Both seem to be mature, genuine guys who like her, are ready for a serious relationship and are there for the right reasons. I should be so lucky!
