I doubt we get more FRC previews until the MTA.  But something from the FDs would be nice.  Even if it's just more previews of Chase and Robby who we already know are there... That'd be better than nothing.  Becasue if they show Jordan in a preview, it'll give away Luke being let go at the start of the FD epi. JMO

But that's the point here, IMO.  Aaron is extremely famous in a major way.  Jordan knows full well and far better than us about the sports media scrutiny the best QB (IMO :Nod: ) in the NFL is under and he willingly talked about this on camera on national network TV anyway.  It's not like Jordan doesn't know how famous Aaron is or that this would be a story.  It's not comparable to others who don't have a sibling in the national spotlight. Totally different animal here.  JMO.

I disagree. Famous or not, it doesn't make a difference. For example, one of the ones Alanna gave, that father was labeled as crazy because of his mental illness. Court documents were released with great detail in regards to the very, very scary and hostile events and it was printed in magazines and a whole bunch of articles online. They're still all there, by the way. That poor father, who seemingly got help, was pushed into the spotlight because of some very nasty events from the past. I'm sure that mortified him. It would for me.

That information was a whole lot worse than Jordan confirming he doesn't have much of a relationship with Aaron, which was already out there because of various reasons, one being a part of Aaron's camp. JMO

So the other contestants were on ( all 25 seasons of both TB and 'ette) because they have qualifications that he is somehow lacking on his own?

What Catherine's father went through (I'm assuming you are referring to Cat's dad) is horrible, not right. But 2 wrongs don't make a right. I can easily say both situations suck.

What I think @relaxing was getting at, and what I agree with, is that this Aaron Rodgers situation is different simply because he is so high profile and in the spotlight. I honestly don't remember much about Catherine's or Ashley's dad drama. It was mentioned, but it certainly wasn't a B storyline the way Aaron Rodgers has been made a storyline. It absolutely was not tabloid fodder the way this is for Aaron. It absolutely is not the same.

And regardless, just because this happened before with other families doesn't make it ok to happen again this time. I blame the show, but I also blame Jordan. He could have squashed any and all talk about Aaron. He could have had the decency to give Aaron a heads up. Something, anything. The entire situation is sad.

It's all whatever to me. It just would have been nice for Jordan to give a little heads up. That's all. And 150% Aaron being his brother is ABSOLUTELY why he was pursued by the show as a last minute addition.

yeah this show is populated with people like the ED specialist Evan but it's BBJ that got on because of a family member

I get relaxing's point and I still disagree with it. I still think having stories of an attempted suicide, verbal abuse to your family, and being forced into a mental institution, etc. in magazines and online articles is far worse than Jordan saying he doesn't have much of a relationship with Aaron, which again, was already speculated partly due to social media and Aaron's girlfriend openly talking about it in an interview. All Jordan and his brother Luke did during the HTD episode was say that they missed their brother. Luke went as far to say that he's hoping things go back to how they were.

Not that I mentioned anything about that in my post, but I'm assuming your last sentence is your opinion since there's no proof of that.

Not sure what all the hoopla is about here! Jordan certainly fits into the kind of guy profile that tptb like to recruit regardless of a famous brother.
And when it came to HTD he felt it appropriate to briefly explain that he doesn't have much of a relationship with his brother right now and so Jojo wouldn't be meeting him. He didn't throw his brother under the bus, or trash talk, he simply explained the reality of his life. It isn't news to his brother, whose own gf has said that Aaron isn't in contact with Jordan. Aaron's career won't be impacted, his reputation is in tact, he has not been dragged through the mud, the family clearly love him... However, Jordan did have to say something about his absence I think, in the same way as others (Cat for one) have explained the absence of a key family member. JMO

When i fill out my next Govt form and it asks for profession, I'm going to say Canadian. So far being Canadian has not paid me anything other than auto deducting taxes.

IMO Jordan having a famous brother had nothing to do with being on the show. At best Jojo would have fangirled a little when she saw his SM thanks to the leak. Now, knowing that they are not close she would have dropped him for either Chase, luke or Robbie as "normal" guys.

What gets me is that Jojo is a DC fan so the GB connection would have turned her off.

If I, being a Manchester  United fan, was in her position and JR was the brother of a Liverpool (mockingly termed as looserfools in our home)  player I would have booted him in the first episode. Sorry buddy but your family plays for the wrong team - there's the door.

Well I guess the good news is for all those who believe Jordan
cannot be judged by his own merits, but by his bro A. 
The show is almost over! And for we who adore this couple
their love story will continue on. None of us knows for sure
what will happen. But for me,I can see a future from what
is being presented now. As far as Jordan, should have informed
Arron, how can that be said without knowing all the facts. Mere
presumption.  IMO
