Thanks to everyone for posting the great videos, now that I have finally been able to see them all! This couple's love story will live on for us due to your wonderful work.

I wonder if this show will ever produce another couple whose sweet passion for each other was so evident in their every move and expression. That they seem to be so committed to their relationship post show only makes watching them all the more swoonworthy. Truly better than the best romantic movie because it's all real! (le sigh )

I love, love, love this video, San! The only kiss missing was the hot, hot kiss in Fiji where JP so deftly removes the towel around Ashley's waist, while they are on the beach. But, I can relive that in my imagination over and over and over....

AshleyS has said that she didn't even want to do the LCD with him, letting him go before then, but the producers wouldn't let her. I think it was more producer driven than anything.

see now that really bothers me - she tells Ben at the AFRC she gave their relationship every chance and yet she publically (basically since AshS doesn't have a problem with letting the world know) that she didn't even want to go on that last date with him. that's what will always bother me about this silly show - people's emotions are toyed with on many levels.



And don't get me started on her letting him propose to her. She should've had the balls not to let him get down on one knee. Deanna was reamed for letting Jason do it - Ash gets a pass?? I dont' think so.

I don't think she gets a 'pass', but I do think she just froze in that moment and couldn't get the words out. She absolutely didn't handle it well, but I don't think it came from any desire on her part to hurt or humiliate Ben. She tried to tell him right away, and then when he insisted on speaking first it completely threw her off. I think some people can relate to the experience of being stuck in a moment when it so important to do or say just the right thing and everything that comes out of your mouth is wrong.... You end up hurting someone even more. And you'd give anything to go back and 'redo' that moment and handle it differently. It's not giving Ashley a pass as much as it is understanding and indentifying with her mistake. Which truly sucked.

JMO, but I do think she gave every guy's relationship every chance. She had many conversations with all of them where she asked a lot of questions about them. She really did try to know those guys. Some she was attracted to more than others. But at the end, she knew where her heart was and giving it her all on the LCD was not going to change the outcome of the season. She DID WANT to do the "right" thing and not string Ben on any farther, but she was not allowed to. And we can say all we want about what we would do and wouldn't do, but if we have signed a contract to do as they say and risk being the subject of a lawsuit for millions of dollars if we don't, guess what happens. And, if that's giving Ashley a pass, then I give her a pass. I don't think that there is a mean spirited bone in her body and if it had been HER choice the show would have been over after Hong Kong. If it had been HER CHOICE she would not have hurt anyone. We really can't judge any of these people unless we've walked in their shoes. :hidingchair

San, that was mighty wet and sloppy to watch... ha ha! Funny, that sums up half of their scenes! Great that you got the wedding shoot one in... that one gets missed a lot.
