I don't think I've seen this posted anywhere, so forgive me if this is old news -- it's the "extended version" of the man-on-the-street interview JP did with Glamour magazine back in October.

6 Things The Bachelorette Ashley May Not Know About Her Fiance J.P. (But Glamour Does!)
After my initial heartbreak that The Bachelorette Ashley Hebert chose J.P. Rosenbaum over Ben in the finale, I've come to really root for the 34-year-old construction manager. In this week's People, Ashley says she "never even looked back for a second on my decision," and I really hope it works out for them. But back in October, long before he put that gorgeous Neil Lane engagement ring on Ashley's finger, J.P. talked to Glamour! (If you’re the type who saves old issues, check out the January 2011 one with Reese Witherspoon on the cover and turn to page 59. See they guy in the light-colored button-down shirt? Yep, that’s him!). Here are some of the little gems we found out.

1. He's outgoing enough to chat with strangers on the street.
True story: When the reporters behind our Glamour Asks, Men Answer column plucked J.P. off the street in New York City's Union Square, he had no problem answering their questions.

2. He claims he doesn't want drama in his life.
Yep, when asked what his 2011 dating resolution was, he said, "No drama. I know that everyone has baggage, but I need to stay drama-free... I I have my own baggage, but I seem to go for the girls that bring drama. I don't know why that is." Uh, well maybe because you go for girls who star on reality TV? I dunno, just a thought.

3. He uses emoticons in his emails.
At least he did when he emailed Glamour, anyway.

4. He knows what he wants in bed.
Granted, J.P. was a little shy when it came to talking about sex, but he did reveal, "I guess I have little idiosyncrasies, and it's good when she pays attention to them. That's important."

5. He's not going to stop watching football--ever.
J.P. admitted that his personality can change depending on the woman he's with. But, "it's not like I gave up watching football...obviously that would never happen," he said.

6. If Ashley wants to do something romantic, it won't be hard.
"I'm all about keeping things simple, so it's the little things that go a very long way," he said. "It doesn't have to be romantic, but it's stuff like picking a place that's convenient for me. Just something that shows she's putting me before herself. And I would do the same, but it's good to know it's reciprocal."

Is it bad that I'm intensely curious about what those "little idiosyncrasies" might be??? Oh, JP. Well, I'm sure Ashley has got it all under control.

She must have paid great attention to those idiosyncrasies that JP might have because she mention in that 10 question interview that to keep a relationship alive it takes great sex. Good lord i can't even believe i even went there .

Great interview! Love the part about not giving up football -- compare that to Ashley's interview with the Philly reporter when she said she could care less about sports. Just like me and my hubby! She will soon learn that she can indeed fall asleep with her eyes open! :awesome:

As far as any "idiosyncrasies" -- I mean, I think JP's main concern right now is probably just keeping up with his younger, very frisky and energetic woman.

Obviously, they mesh in the sex dept. too, of course we knew that from her comments and just watching them together. Ashley said in that interview, "he completes me". JP said he "loves her more every day". And they both said they are "more in love now then in Figi".
IT works for them.

JP is a smart perceptive guy, because number 6 is really the key to a good healthy relationship. If both people always try to put their partner's interests ahead of their own, you can't go wrong.
