I can see him like Des's Chris too and even like Richie as I find he has a Richie vibe to him with his quirky entrance (I saw it more quirky than gimmicky) but mostly because of Chase saying he wants that "it" feeling during his 1on1 time at CP with JoJo. That's exactly what Richie said to Sam!

Hm, Chase could be hidden. I think for me it's super easy to project onto him because I missed him entirely in the episode (I only saw the last half hour/40 minutes). But I kind of see what you mean. I guess I like that of the other top sleuthed guys, he actually has a job .

Like, Jordan is clearly hot, but there is a part of me that thinks he's on there for the ESPN job (since ABC owns both). And Robby had that "girlfriend" clip. I did like Luke, though, I kind of want him to be the next Bachelor since he's 31 (I think I wasn't a fan of Ben's season since everyone just seemed so young).

I always seem to like the normal (usually seen as "boring") ones (who are interesting too) so Chase willing to poke fun with his puns/limo exit and also him having a real job is a big plus for me.

I can definitely see Luke also as next lead and based on his intro it felt very next-lead. That pose of him on the barn was very staged/lead-driven, imo. He seems very "perfect".

These are just my first impressions though so things could change as the season goes by. Who knows they may not be that great once it is all over. For now they seem nice but it could just be edit atm.

The barn pose immediately reminded me of Framer Chris's promo shots standing at the barn doors.

I didn't see Chase's limo thing, so maybe that's it!  Although his "biggest date fear" from his bio is that some girl will fall in love with him and he's not into it, which, I dunno...  kind of rubs me the wrong way.

I also didn't see Luke's intro package -- just them talking and him giving her the boots.  But something about him seems Ben-ish...  like, his occupation is freakin' "War Veteran".  His bio also seems kind of Bachelor-ish.  (ETA: Luke seems smoother to me that Farmer Chris who I never liked, even before his season.  Luke also seems nicer.  Of course, that may change ).

After seeing the new Chase/JoJo preview (see screencap thread), here are a few of my thoughts.

1. Chase makes an early impression that I think will stand out to viewers...so he maybe won't be that mid-season challenge to the real F1 since he is making an notable appearance in episode 2. Didn't the same thing happen with Lauren B. -- no date epi 2?

2. I mentioned in the other thread that the fact that Chase doesn't get an early date with JoJo extends right from what the other 'Ettes told her. Don't do anything with the guys you like early. They'll still be around the for the next week.

3. Watching their interaction I was reminded what JoJo said in a preseason interview* of what she was looking for. She wants someone who can be her best friend and make her laugh. The interaction I saw in this clip and his, "I mustache you a question", intro etc seems to fit that vibe...for me. (*see this our sc thread discussion)

I have the feeling that Chase will either be F1 or the crushed F2...just my gut instinct at the moment.

Hmm... I haven't read any of the bios of the guys but that is interesting.
I guess I could see it as Chase having a fear of hurting people and not wanting to hurt someone?

Chris is already perfect, if Chase is a Richie-kind-of-Chris, that really is an Unicorn.

I think we should sugget to add "unicorn" emoji.

It was pretty fast but it stood out to me because while it was a gimmick it felt like that was who Chase was? Just a feeling I got. Like it was natural for him to poke fun at himself (a great quality in a man, imo).

I am hopeful about Chase, too. If Chase turns out to be that type of unicorn I can see myself getting invested and like with Richie I am going to be stressing about whether Chase is F1 or F3 and praying Chase is not F2.

I get it, but I'll just say as someone who's been the one to "fall in love with someone who's not into it," it just kind of rubs me the wrong way. Like, dude, nip it in the bud before you get to the point of her falling in love. But he seems very sweet from the clip of him and JoJo and the "snow", so I can give him a pass on the bio comment .

He also (at least from the clip) doesn't seem like a fake "nice guy," like Farmer Chris, I'll give him that!

I get nice guy, best friend, manly, quietly sexy vibes from Chase too! 
And yes Chris-like. 

Luke as Bach seems highly likely. also.... I don't know if Fleiss can resist him. 

So excited!!

I still think there's another villain that we're missing. I don't want to see another season where the F1 is kind of the villain (like Shawn with his serious crazy last season). Although I think JoJo has a far more "controlled" personality than K did.

Like, I hope I like the F1. I want a Des/Chris, JP/Ashley story! I don't want to root for the F2/F3... especially being unspoiled and all.
