THE BACHELORETTE - SEASON 12 - JOJO FLETCHER - **NO SPOILERS** - *SLEUTHING* DISCUSSION

Everyday, I wake up to a new line of thinking about this season. Here's the latest...and similar to what many here have suggested before me. Tune in again tomorrow. It will probably be different.

Maybe it's a mistake to analyze TPTB's actions based on the past. IIRC, starting in the Farmer's season, the people behind the show recommitted themselves to rising above all the challenges of spoilers, SM, etc. Instead of fighting it, TPTB embraced it to some extent. (I'd try to find the article, but I'm afraid of getting spoiled.)

Since then, TPTB have mercilessly trashed the MOT people to keep up the SM hype. Whitney was not trashed by TPTB, but her love story was (imo) in that Chris was shown pleading with Becca to tell him what she wanted. Kaitlyn's edit was suspect early on with previews showing her sneaking into the Farmer's tent...but never shown, to clean up her edit as potential B'ette.

Shawn, though Kaitlyn's F1, was edited to be a crazy jealous guy (and meathead...imo). Kaitlyn, herself, came out with a pretty bad edit (again, imo). I don't think TPTB cared one iota about her or her love story. Of her final guys, only Ben came out clean -- the next Bach.

Then the perfect Ben was edited with the two ILYs dilemma. The audience got pretty mad about that. Ben lost some of his shininess...and for some, his love story was tarnished. His final girls were mostly unscathed. JoJo had a great edit -- the next B'ette.

This brings us to the current season. I frankly don't think TPTB care whether Jordan has a good edit or not if he is F1. I think they are bringing doubt into his storyline. If JoJo's love story is somewhat diminished, I don't think TPTB care. Who has the great edit/next Bach role? Luke!

Chase and Robby are just causalities of the season with the benefits of notoriety and whatever opportunities that will bring.

That makes a lot of sense, Litta. 

With Jordan telling JoJo twice that he has fallen in love with her, plus it appears he is at FRC, I just don't see what can stop him from moving forward with JoJo who is all in with him. 

It would be nice to see a great love story, but this one between Jordan and JoJo does not give me the warm and fuzzies. Not yet anyway.

I will take it one step further and say that based on his edit, Chase may override Luke as the next Bachelor.

Litta, we're on the same page at the moment. It is starting to feel like no one has a chance against Jordan.

I agree Litta.  If we stop believing everything TPTB are showing us is to throw us of and look at the obvious then it is Jordan as F1.

I am already starting to warm up to the idea that Chase may not end up with JoJo and he ends up at the next lead. More Chase! More Chase!  I can hardly wait until tonight.  I only hope that what we got to see in the previews isn't the total viewing time during the episode!  I need to see Chase showing JoJo his sensitive/loving/protective side.

I like how whether we are in Spumoni, Lava Cake, Fruity Dessert, or Apple Pie camp we can all see each others take on things

Are there usually three 1:1s in the pre-HTD episode or two and 4 people on the group date? I thought that there were usually 3 people on a group date and one of them gets extra time, like Caila. Is there any chance that Robby is on the group date and wins the extra time with JoJo, which is basically the hotel canoodling session post-run-down-the-hall-in-my-underwear?

If Robby's on the group date, then two scenarios:
A) Three-people date: Robby, James T. Chase or Luke and another 1:1: Chase or Luke
B) Four-people date: Robby, James T., Chase, and Luke.

If it's scenario A, we have another 1:1 date. We don't seem to have caps for the group date or another 1:1, do we?

^Regarding that last SC, I think you could be right about that being the RC after HTDs.
She says "That scares me. I can't handle this." She has said a few times now how she is scared of letting the wrong person go...
I wonder why she says that? Is she scared of making the wrong choice...which at this point would be Jordan?
