Are they the youngest couple to come out of the show? They have to be close to one of the youngest if not the youngest, anyway. I'm so impressed with how both have handled everything so far. Very mature people despite their age. And I don't really question if either is ready for marriage despite their youth. Ben especially, since we "know" him more. I fully believe he would have married Shaelin if she didn't break his heart. He just seems like a monogomous kind of guy. Lauren obviously benefits.

Yes, pretty sure at 28 and 27, they are the youngest couple to come out of this show. I'm super impressed with how they are handling everything. They seriously seem like the real deal....normal, in love, down to earth couple.

According to these charts the median age to marry in the state of Indiana is 27.4 for men and 26.1 for women. Contrast to - say - California it's 29.5 for men and 27.3. for women. Since Ben was born and raised in Indiana he could likely feel that getting married at just about his current age is the norm.

They are actually 27 and 26, respectively! Little Ben was merely 25 when we first "met" him on Kaitlyn's season.

I'm a Midwest girl. I was married at 27, and was honestly one of the the later people in my friend group to get married. I'm 33 now, so it wasn't that long ago. Ben and Lauren are still my generation, so it's not a generational difference. Ben just seriously strikes me as someone who wants a wife and to be done with the dating scene for good. And if Lauren's last relationship was 3 years, sounds like she's pretty monogomous too. Both have been rumored to be clingy in past relationships, and both got dumped the last time- so neither did the dumping in prior relationships, which leads me to believe both prefer to be IN relationships. I think these two are a great match.

I'm sorry, I couldn't find the link to the sc with the families...what have I missed- didn't know they were there until this morning. Fabulous. Maybe they'll be attending the BYC event!?!
I think there could be some wedding planning occurring. Do we know if Mollie is there, what about the boys?

Also, holy crap they look like the younger verisions of Trista and Ryan! They are such a throwback to that couple- even down to the LA girl (via Indiana in Trista's case- Trista and Ben went to the same college), and Colorado guy. Both couples will be living within 2 hours of each other. It's just as if the "Ryan" had done the picking this time instead of the "Trista." Crazy similarities. Hoping for a similar outcome. And if Trista is the face of successful Bachelorettes, I hope Ben becomes the face of successful Bachelors.

I don't know Trista or Ryan's story. If it's anything like BenLo, I love them already! Actually I loved Ryan when he said pick Lauren.

Thank you, Ceoona! Perfect! Looks like a night to remember. ;) See how they had a private dining room. I can tell they are a unit, a team - I don't think Ben was overstating or lying. Keep it up, Benlo. Keep doing what you're doing... They figured out early that they need to communicate and be patient with each other...it took me YEARS (and through therapy) to figure out how to do it effectively with my husband. I could see the Bushiggins being close friends and wishing they lived closer to one another. How neat because potentially they will share grandchildren and them being a tight extended family will enrich the grandchildren as well as everyone involved. Hope this lasts!!
