Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion

IMO Emily and Jef NEVER looked Happy together.  

Ben and Lauren are posting such normal RL stuff that they seem on a very good path to making their relationship last IRL.  The mag's always post this kind of stuff every season.

As I said through my fan glasses they did. I doubt there is real trouble with Ben and Lauren, but this is the thread to discuss it in if people suspect there maybe.

My bigger question is that even JoJo acknowledged that Ben and Lauren's connection was so clear. So how did she flip it - seemed to flip like overnight in Jamaica and all the sudden she was ALL IN and couldn't imagine Ben having feelings for anyone else. It just came out of no where, yet she herself acknowledges throughout the season she's having trouble letting her guard down because of his obvious connection with Lauren. Did the isolation from Lauren starting at hometowns really play that much of a number on her to make her forget?[/quote]


That is such an interesting question . She even had a few more hours with end family after Ben left and her bros could have further discussed things with her. How did she go to FD so gung-ho ? Did she know the order of the FD dates and surmised that Ben told her first that he loved her ? In one of her interviews, the two ILY's didn't really bother her. Weird because editing showed it did. Jmo.

Heck Meandi and Josh posted a happy kissy face selfie on the plane to the premier of Chris Soules season, and they were already broken up in private.

I think Ben and Lauren are good but sm media pics don't tell what couples are facing in real life

JoJo said while watching the show at home she saw the Ben and Lauren connection, not while she was there. Until, Ben told her on LCD that he loved Lauren too, I understand her confusion, while filming. The lead is not supposed to say ILY to any one but the final one. Her demeanor changed after that point of the LCD, but until then she was blinded by the ILY.

All of course is JMO.

Also, it is over and since Ben and Lauren are happy and JoJo is bachelorette and not bringing it up anymore we might be Again JMO

Ahh, but Carjacknick brought up a new discussion point earlier and after all, this is a discussion thread as I read from you earlier

I disagree that sm doesn't tell the truth, I think it absolutely does in all or at least most cases. Josh and Andi stopped posting about each other weeks before they broke up. I remember thinking they're cooling on each other so I should start cooling on them to preserve my sad, beaten down fan heart   Lauren and Ben appear to be very happy from their sm and I'm happy for them!

So moving forward, we all should just consider any developing relationship for any couple from this show to be "a showmance" until a period of time?
IRL, are there any relationships that does not incur any struggles? How do we judge and what do we look for that says there are signs of trouble?
Overall, it's unconventional dating and then commitment that perhaps places additional pressure for the couple to succeed. Add all eyes expecting failure and reading too much into every little thing.

Best bet is for the couple is to go about regular routine and not put on airs for what is expected by others
