IMO one reason for an improved success ratio is because they know more about what a lead is actually looking for because they've worked with the lead - got inside their head if you will - and can pick leads who are more likely to be ready for and / or looking for a long term relationship. All leads are going to say (for the purposes of the show) that they are looking for "love" but not all leads really are - it's just that the show has a good indication of who is and who isn't before they cast them as the lead. If they can wrap a compelling storyline around someone who is looking for love they will go that way.

If they can't wrap a good storyline around a lead they will go another way - the storyline trumps "looking for love" - but if they can wrap a compelling storyline around a lead who is ready to find "love" they will go that way.

And BTW Kasha - I have a silver BMW X3. Unfortunately, the person who rides shotgun in it is my wife ...

My prediction: JoJo zero's in on Aaron Rodger's brother. Josh Murray 2.0- he had a famous quarterback brother too, though obviously Jo kicks it up a notch with Aaron Rodger's brother. He's either F1 showmance and I being a big Packer fan will have to suffer seeing JoJo mug on the screen during a quick shot at a Packer game next fall before the innevitable break up, or this dude makes F3 and is the next Bachelor.

IMO yes. It's been done other seasons. It's nothing new.

Let me add, that because someone is "acting" to a certain extent, whatever that extent is, does not mean love can not happen between two people. It's  happened gad zillions of times with actors and actresses falling in love during a filming.

Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor were compelling together in Cleopatra love scenes because they had actually fallen in love with each other off camera. We've seen several seasons of this franchise where couples who met on the show ended up getting married or making long term relationships and IMO there was a lot of acting on each of their seasons. Just not so much with each other.

The devil is in the details of trying to figure out which is acting and which is real. I always saw JoJo as acting - though a bit less convincingly as Shayne and Shayne wasn't a great actress by any means - just better than most Reality TV contestants - and JoJo.
