I got married at 28 and was what many would consider a party girl in college and my twenties. I went out at least 3-4 nights a week, slept in and had a ball. Now nearly 22 years of marriage later, i have two very well adjusted teenagers, am self employed and volunteered about 300 hours this past year with a non profit.

So I don't understand what is the big deal with Lauren or any contestant being a party girl when they are single and have no children waiting at home?

I'm sorry, I think you may have mis-read my posts.
I NEVER EVER said party girl is good nor bad, I NEVER did.
It was Ben who said he started to see something different with Lauren post show, that she sleeps in and I suggested this may because she is a party girl.

It was him who mentioned this other than anything new he must have known during the four months period. I HAVEN'T once commented being party girl is bad. I hope this is clear and I don't like the misunderstanding here!

We had the spoiler early but I never believe that, to me it was confirmed when we got the first screen caps of the finale after episode 6.  I could see based on the lighting JoJo came first (aka F2).  Then later we lightened the screen caps of Ben closing the limo door and I could see JoJos arm and dress inside.

Who would talk about being bothered by the heavy breathe of your fiance? It's not cute at all, it almost sounds like a dig at Ben. And Ben mentioned Lauren sleeps till late that to me isn't a good sign too, it's about compatibility in life. He's an early morning healthy guy, he can't have a party wife (I really do see her as a party girl who drinks often).

So what would you have liked for her to answer to the "pet peeve" question? Would anything have not been "not cute?"

To me it seems like a no win.

If she/they didn't come up with any "pet peeves" or "things they didn't know before the season ended about the other" then we'd have had a board full of people saying they didn't know one another well enough to have an answer.

During the show, some of the same people saying Ben should have picked JoJo b/c they HAD had "disagreements" (as minor and hardly qualified to be disagreements IRL, IMO, but...) now think it's bad that Ben and Lauren have had any "disagreements."

Would anything have been the "right" answer in this case then?

I think Lauren being F1 was pretty much sleuthed before it even happened. We got pics and videos of Lauren and Ben's date in Warsaw through SM and he looked like a totally different person than he did on Kaitlyn's season. So happy and affectionate. Then a while after that RS said it's been Lauren since half-way through filming and then confirmed it was when he posted all his spoilers. I think there were some SM hints before that though. At least I never doubted Lauren was F1, even before RS said so.

But I have always seen a manipulator in Lauren and TBH, I'm not surprised she is the boss in this relationship.

Honestly, I can say the exact same thing although I'm at the polar opposite end. People will try to find every little moments, analysis every little kiss to say they are very much in love. It works both ways, really.

I saw that 'I trained him to let me sleep in' as a joke, and Ben IMO did too, because he continued the same joke a bit later on about her training him. They go with the flow of the interview, jimmy kimmel set the tone of his show and they follow his cue.

I don't know if Lauren is the boss in this relationship, to me they seem to be just on the same page, but if she was, what's so bad about that? I just don't see this 'manipulator' at all.

I agree. Ben also definitely didn't have to re-propose. He doesn't seem like the type that would fake it like that if things were rocky.

A lot has been made about their "different" sleeping patterns. Small potatoes. You know a BIG similarity I saw? They both pray together daily, about and for each other as a couple. That to me speaks volumes. Huge, HUGE life similarity. And it shows a commitment they've made, to the very least, giving this relationship a solid shot.

And it's impossible for any engaged or even married couples to work out all potential "incompatibilities" (aka things they learn about one another doing differently than they had done) until once they're actually truly doing life together day to day for a considerable length of time.

You go into relationships, whether engaged for weeks, months, or years, whether having not lived together before marriage, or jumping into living together, because it's inevitable - no matter how many things they think they discussed and worked through in advance - that they differed in things after decades of having had another "norm" in some areas.

Whether it's little things like which way the TP goes, what the "right" kind of toothpaste is, to things like sleep schedules, habits about how dishes are done, or laundry, or when they workout, or whatever, those things are really discovered and hammered out once you start really "doing life."

It takes adjustments on all parts and I think any couple - whether from Bach nation or IRL - would acknowledge that.

Ben and Lauren have spent may 3 weeks worth of "days/nights" together since the show ended - and not consecutively.

They're going to discover more things they have done differently for the first nearly 3 decades of their lives like every other couple in the world does - since you can't marry someone who grew up in the exact same manner/habit/traditions/etc as you have by virtue of coming from two different backgrounds/families.

It's sharing the core things that they will give them the best fighting chance to potentially make it - and the little things get worked out, and adjustments are made on all parts - just like every other couple in the world who tries to make a potential engagement or marriage succeed deals with!

Yes. He has a website, but I'd suggest you stay away/don't visit it, if you want to be unspoiled for the upcoming 'Ette season as he's already releasing guys names who will more than likely be on the show.
