The final week of filming?

I don't think filming is in it's last week.
- Per casting and from everything sleuthed thus far filming is still up to 12 weeks of filming.
- S3 was beginning-March thru mid-May and S4 started about 10 days later and so likely FRC should be end of May/beginning June.
- Bette S1 started filming May 21 and Bette S2 is scheduled to begin filming early June (thus accounting for the later start for Bach AU S4 I presume) so likely also back to back filming like last year.
- Current filming timeline for today (April 28) is Week 7 (starting around March 10/12) so nearly a month to go.

On Wednesday the 30-year-old rope access technician was seen treating a blonde contestant to a lovely ride in a vintage car at Wisemans Ferry in Western Sydney.

I wonder if the 'final week of filming' comment is because they're taking a break from filming next week so Richie can attend the Logies (isn't it the first week of May?) and the Daily Mail incorrectly inferred that as filming stopping altogether? 

Either way, I don't see how it could possibly be the last week of filming if Nikki's second single date was on the 27th April. Even if, at the very least, it's her HTD, there'd still be the rest of the HTD's, F3 dates, F2 LCD's and MTP's, and the FRC to film. No way they'd be able to film all that in one week.

Tuesday April 26/Wednesday April 27
- Seems like a RC took place that night
- Osher said RC filmed into early yours of Wednesday morning after emotional RC
- This means if Nikki seen Wednesday April 27 then she is still on show
- Emotional RC may mean someone who had early SD may have left, intruder may have stayed, or any other scenario
- If Intruders on this season it is likely IMO that they arrived already
- May be a possibility they arrived Tuesday and thus the emotional RC

Speaking on his 2dayFM breakfast radio show Stav, Abby and Osher in Brisbane on Wednesday, The Bachelor/ette host revealed that the accident occurred after he tried to move his car to let the star of the show Richie Strahan leave the mansion first, following an emotional rose ceremony.

'We finished very late, it was quite an emotional rose ceremony last night and everyone was quite tired at the end of the shoot,' the 42-year-old recalled of the incident.

Based on info/sleuthing regarding this week (April 26 and 27) with emotional RC and Nikki with possible 2nd/more SD and when comparing S3 to S4 for possible filming timeline regarding episodes...

Filming schedule comparison: Richie S4 and Sam Wood S3

- Richie's S4 had 19 contestants same number as Sam Wood S3.

From a numbers perspective, it seems as though DM may have been correct in saying that there were 6 girls left on Thursday.


We know that the sport GD was on the 4th April and we had 11 girls left. If the latest spoiled GD showed all remaining contestants that means the following girls got eliminated since then:
- unknown girl [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
- Keira
- Megan
- girl wearing yellow tshirt
- girl in purple gym gear
- short hair brunette

That's 6 girls. We know that intruders would have arrived after April 4th and that there's 1 intruder left (bleached blonde girl). If there's only 2 intruders, that means an intruder left in that timeframe as well. 
That brings us to potentially 7 girls eliminated between April 4th and Thursday depending on how many intruders there are and 1 more eliminated before this weekend (Kirralee) = 8 altogether.

If there's 2 RCs per week, that means there have been 6 RCs since the sport GD up until Thursday. One of the girls would have left on ep 5's RC leaving 6 girls to eliminate before Thursday. If only one girl goes home per episode, that matches up with the numbers given there are 6RCs. Then Kirralee leaves on the 7th RC since April 4th before the weekend.

As the sport GD is estimated as Episode 5, that means we were at Episode 12 when Kirralee got eliminated (7 RCs later). If there's only 5 girls left, it matches up with the season ending on episode 16 like Sam Wood's did: ep 13= decides final 4, ep 14 decides final 3, ep 15 decides final 2, ep 16=finale. 


Obviously I've made a few assumptions regarding number of intruders and episode numbers but it might confirm the top 6 at episode 12. 

However, if there haven't been 2 RCs every week, if there were more intruders this year, and if we were at episode 11 on Thursday, there could have been 7 girls because Sam Wood skipped an elimination in episode 11. Sam had a top 6 for 2 episodes. Richie may have had 7 girls on Thursday and eliminated Kirralee to get back on track with 6 for episode 12 if Channel 10 are sticking to a 16-episode season.

Does anyone know how long HTDs take to film?
If we're at top 5 currently, Richie will be at the Logies on the 8th which means he's either got all of this upcoming week to decide the final 4 - so only filming 1 episode for the whole week - or he's going to the Logies in between HTDs which will start mid/end of the week??

If filming ends roughly 2 weeks after Sam Wood's season, I feel like that's too much time left if they're already at HTDs this week. Makes me think HTDs will be filmed straight after the Logies - if that's the case, we could have been at episode 11 on Thursday with a top 7 (not 6) and the RCs of episodes 12/13 could be filmed this week to finalise top 4 before the Logies.

Or maybe they're just filming one episode this week given that the top 5 all get one-on-one time before HTDs. The top 5 girls in Sam Wood's season stayed at a beachside place for 2 days to have their one on one dates before HTDs so it could be a 1 episode filming week.

Couldn't they have a GD and possibly a SD so far at this stage? Maybe only those girls in DM pic were on the group date

Based on what was sleuthed in comparison to S3, I think Richie would have HTDs after Logies (that is if he attends) since he is ~2 weeks behind Sam Wood's schedule.

HTDs should take up one whole week of filming. FDs another whole week. And then MTP/LCD/FRC a few more days which should put FRC around end of May and beginning of June the latest.

Definitely could be the case if they were filming Ep 10 so F7 and perhaps the girl who got a SD not on the GD.

With F6 it looks like all the girls were on the GD, even those who got a SD. Here's F6 (both for Ep 11 and Ep 12 since no one was eliminated Ep 11).

If they were at F6 April 28 then and Kirralee/Kiki was out Saturday then they may be at F5 this week.

So possible filming schedule currently:
F5 - filming this week (S3 they had mini-dates for each of the F5)
*Optional* - possible break if Richie is at Logies this upcoming weekend (if not may start HTDs end of this week)
F4 - likely film HTDS the week of May 9 or sooner
F3 - FDs week of  May 16 or sooner
F2-F1 - MTP/LCD/FRC week of May 23 or sooner
