Judging from what I have seen so far, I would bet that THIS is the real reason that Ben isn't doing DWTS.  Despite him saying that things are so wonderful between him and his F1 now, I believe that he realistically knew that it would be best if he didn't take on DWTS, and instead decided he needed to concentrate on his new relationship.  JMO.

I think it was JoJo in the bathroom. I don't believe that what we heard of that conversation in the preview was the actual conversation however - that was heavily (and rather poorly I might add) edited in the preview.

I think one phone call we will see is to his Mom - after he lets F2 go and before he proposes to F1. But I also believe he called F1's father to ask for her hand in marriage - I don't think we'll see that. There have been a number of such phone calls prior to FRC proposals that we have heard happened, but were never shown on air.

I think the reason they show him on the phone is because this seasons previews were trying to make us believe that he changed his mind and called a girl back for a last minute switcheroo. We still might not actually see or hear the phone call, as we've often seen stuff in previews that never air during episodes.

If a statement is going to be made, please provide how you know, along with a link. Not everyone reads all the threads, or they may not have come across the thread that you are referring to. Being a little more specific is always more helpful and prevents further questions. For example,

As far as DWTS - it is posted in the DWTS thread where he commented that he had a torn ACL before going on the 'ette. I believe he mentioned it during K's season that he injured himself in high school. Since we know he went from the 'ette to TB and no surgeries in between, IMO that might be the reason he is not doing DWTS if in fact he was asked.

But I think I've mentioned before that I still have a torn ACL in my knee from an injury I had just before I was on The Bachelorette. I can still run and jump okay, but any sort of cutting or change of direction and I'm toast, so I decided to sit this one out.

And if this is the reason, good for him. He knows his priorities and limits, and is making a respectable decision imo. As a fan of DWTS I'd jump at the opportunity, but Ben knows what's good for him.

We did we not see the girl in the bathroom but assume it was JoJo. And lets say it was JoJo, maybe he was being honest but we did not hear but a part of the conversation (I am guessing) Suppose he said "yes" followed by but I love you more or I love her but I am not "in love with her" Note: I have NOT heard him say "I am in love with you" to Lauren but I have JoJo. If anyone can find a clip where he says it to Lauren I would love to see it. Depending on what was said after the initial "shock" value statement can determine a lot. Saying I love you and I am IN love with you makes a difference to me. Somebody can "love" someone but not be IN love with them. And what if he said yes to the question "you love her too" but he didn't admit to he TOLD Lauren? What if he confessed because he promised JJ he would not blindside her? All season we have seen Ben and JJ work out problems and only gotten closer as a result, is this another one they work through? So if it is JJ in bathroom then she could still be F1 and he confesses telling Lauren he loved her all after the FRC. Which he stated in interview with ET, they were a team now and we communicate and she's been supportive and loving and caring. We've put her through hell and back sometimes but she never ceased to love me and support me through it. That's why we're standing here today. Who does that sound like? Did JoJo not support him with her brothers while trying to explain her bros to him as well? Didn't he tell JJ at FD that when things get tough he would draw her closer and wanted her to do the same thing? I will say again, I think we are programmed by media etc. to think F1 is one person...period. Therefore, we only look at those things that confirm what we are suppose to already know. , I can't figure out why the statement "the most Romantic Bachelor (I only saw one real romance) if we already knew from the beginning it was Lauren then they might as well go to the FRC in second episode, why did Fleiss go with pushing Lauren to the front as F1(he has always kept them in the rearview mirror until 1/2 through , JJ didn't really show up until 1/2 through. even with the other girls commenting on Lauren being frontrunner, or why throw out Blindside (who's blindsided) Jo already knows he loves Lauren according to the convo in bathroom.(if she was one in bathroom) So are we to think after this convo that she will be shocked if she isn't picked. What's the blindside in that? And what is the reference to Jason's season? (Ben apparently is not doing a switcheroo) therefore,, I believe it refers to Jason made his F2 his F1 before all was said and done,.therefore, blindsided may be that Lauren was suppose to be F1 and then winds up being F2. These are just my opinions and just trying to look at all things with a different slant. JMO
