i believe that Sean's Mom and sister liked Lindsay better. Anyone else remember this? His Dad seemed supportive of both, but certainly Catherine. So I wonder what Ben's Dad thinks?

Perhaps more so than other seasons, Ben's parents' opinions might carry more weight to viewers or seem to have more meaning in this situation because of Ben's own words and feelings about them and how they influence his life. They've been featured in the show somewhat prominently and appear to be a touchstone for him with regards to what a successful relationship and marriage is - his benchmark.

There have been a number of rumors on blogs and in the rags that his Mom makes his decision because he couldn't so I can see why TPTB couldn't resist and rolled this out (even though it's tacky) -just to mess with viewers.

A while back, someone posted about the importance of this being TB's 20th and their desire to make it memorable is important to them so I do kind of expect more surprises than the normal fare.

Sean revealed in his book that if pressed his family would have picked Lindsey (mainly because she made it known she was Christian) but they all liked both girls. I think they could also see Sean was more drawn to Cat as evidenced by his body language during the MTP dates.

True NC , and Ben does not get a free pass to be one of the faces on Mt Rushmore. More has happened and we will see it , or rather view it how TPTB wants us too until the proposal. This season is a doozy for sure.

That's interesting. Seems like Ben is keeping Lauren in the dark but already telling JoJo during the day portion that he doesn't know who he's picking.

Oh and Lauren said he spent the last day with JoJo, so I guess her LCD was last like that US Weekly article claimed?

I caught that too about the date order and Jojo's comments. This makes it even more clear Lauren is F1. We already saw part of the fireworks with Jojo's evening of her LCD. She wants answers and a sign that it's her .

Ok if Lauren had the last LCD wouldn't she have met the parents last also or do they switch it up?

By letting JoJo know, he introduces uncertainty to her. But it seems Lauren is uncertain, too. Just what tptb are looking for.... uncertainty by as many people as possible to the very end. Just guessing that ATFR will begin at 10:07 or so.... so that the proposal is after folk would be tempted to turn the dial- maximization of ratings in all 3 primetime hours is the goal (and IMO, the only goal for tptb).

I haven't analyzed... there are some great at it. Is Ben's mom's ITM heavily edited?

I think they might have had Lauren's MTP first, because she's more reserved and that way they won't be comparing her to JoJo in their minds.
