Ashley didn't get into residency in NYC, but she got a pedo one in Philly so they're both moving to Jersey or somewhere in the middle and both will commute to work each day, him to NYC and her to Philly.

I guess I didn't see where they said they were moving to Jersey...but good for her with the residency and they STILL look so in love.

Just a teeny clarification. Based on the way the dental residency match program works, it may not necessarily be true that she didn't get a residency in New York. It depends on how she ranked her preferences. For instance, her first few choices may have been the top programs in New York, but after that, she may have ranked one of the 3 peds residencies in Philly (especially UPenn) higher than some of the other peds residencies in New York, based on prestige, the type of program, or other factors. So one of her lower ranked New York programs might have selected her, but if she was also selected by a Philly program that was higher in her own rankings, that's where she would have matched.

Anyway, after all the speculation that she didn't get a residency, it's nice to know she did. Only 57% of this year's peds applicants got a residency.

They JUST got that apartment and decorated it. But so happy for them. Now when's the dang wedding???

Yes I watched it Jash, thanks. I lived in NYC for years and worked with a lot of people who lived in Jersey and commuted. It's actually not that bad, about an hour depending on how far in you are.

It struck me that they said they did not have a wedding date set but knew it would be within the next year. But also say they have started planning. That's kind of hard to do without a date. Is it possible they do not have a date because it depends on when ABC can fit it in. I believe Ali said that was an issue when they were trying to set a date for their wedding. Just speculating, could be they just don't know when they want to yet.

I don't. We've already seen that they're good at keeping secrets when contractually obligated to.

Maybe someone can help a westcoaster out here? We don't think much about driving and hour or two one way to work because we are so spread out. I would like to know what the difference in time, miles it is between those three states as it sounds like such a large distance if you think about driving between say Washinton, Oregon and California here.
