Bachelor New Zealand - Jordan Mauger - Season 2 - Episode Discussion - *Sleuthing* - *Spoilers*

I'm looking forward to seeing more of Alicia. We had a great intro of her with all her animals where she showed an excellent sense of humour but we haven't seen much of her since. She's kind of quirky which I like. The same applies to Rebecca. I had her as F1 on the first night but she's been pretty invisible since as well.

Me too! I like Alicia and her intro. If hidden F1 I can see her as it. Only one I can see as F1 so far but Fleur and Rebecca there too maybe. The edit is very odd. Hope it's just because of filming and hopefully not Naz! I can't see Jordan choosing her. Hope we see more later and less Naz/Claudia drama. Hoping for more on the chase/intersest and getting to know the girls and less boring manufactured drama. :/

Alicia seems to be really interested in Jordan. I'd say she's most interested in him out of all girls. From her bio it sounds like Jordan is her dream guy. I can see her as F1 perhaps if Jordan falls for her later on.

Rebecca: FIR and second rose at RC so frontrunner still maybe but still not much screen time. Maybe gets single date or SQT next ep?

Storm looks to be kissing Jordan again next episode. Wonder if it's more physical and only that shown?

Naz maybe kept just for drama like Chrystal was. Hopefully no HTD for her.

I like Sarah too. Hopefully her if not Storm for top 4. Sadly if Scout is correct and filming is ongoing and that was Naz in the pic in not sure of top 4 if she's in it. Hope not.

Please say it isn't so! In my experience guys don't like girls that create drama - most don't have the patience or energy for it.

I haven't seen anything really personal between them but that might just be the edit.

My cynical side is saying, however, that she'll stay close to the end to keep the ratings up.

I hope it's not so, Katie. That Scout article has me worried since it looks like Naz goes far.

What did Jordan describe his dream girl as? IIRC it was confident or something?

Yes she has a quiet confidence to her like Storm.

We really need to sleuth their filming schedule. We don't know whether that segment is going to be shown in a couple of weeks or she's one of the F4.

What stage do you think that are at?

If they started filming around Jan 22 and are still filming? Then they are 8 weeks plus into filming already unless they had breaks.

They said no more than 7 weeks filming and Art's FRC was March 8 (he had a break in filming) so not sure if they will film longer or if they started later or something happens to delay.

They definitely started airing the show while filming was ongoing though. If I had to guess I would think they're nearly done? Not sure. Scout may give more hints when filming ends.

I also would like to see more of Alicia as she seems to genuinely care for Jordan. Why do think he keeps Claudia ? I am baffled unless it is some sort of strategy? or do you think he has been advised to keep her on. A connection does not seem evident. The Naz/ Claudia  ongoing dialogue is a distraction. Notice the softening of Naz onscreen...   Cinderella  scenario ? except reversed.
It would be great if someone can work out when the photo was taken.

Yes IA - there is a big differenec between them and Chrystal. She was at least as you said snark-funny - they are just coming across as petty and IMO delusional.

I like Alicia a lot. She seems very genuine to me. If I had to pick F1 it would be her. Then again, part of me wonders if Rebecca is being kept so hidden despite FIR because they don't want to repeat the same storyline as Matilda? Fleur I don't see it but the other girls and edit and roses makes it seem like she is possible. Storm I don't see it either but the kissing is there. If they keep focusing on the physical with Jordan and Storm then she could get a physical edit and not F1? I like Sarah too and could see her going far.

Claudia is producer driven I think. There just to talk about her clothing and stir up drama. Boring and distracting like you said.

The Naz scenario could be a storyline. The softening was definitely emphasized this episode - by Jordan himself. If she's in F4 or more than I don't know Jordan's at all. He's hard for me to read already when it comes to romantic interest. Hopefully not Naz.

According to Scout the photo was taken just last week.

Not sure if Naz's nastiness will be able to be reversed. She's getting a lot of hate on SM. She can't undo all the horrible things she said and stirring she's done. If he does end up picking her he's a brave man IMO.

I also think that if she does get as far as the F3/4 SM will go ballistic and MediaWorks will be rubbing their hands in glee
