Sounds like those rumors may be true then... I wonder... There definitely seems to be something different about filming this year.
I even read that their top choice for lead turned down the gig?

I hope they are near the end of filming. It seems odd since Scout said when the show aired that Jordan was filming out of the country so it made it seem like FDs? If so that's a long time it seems between now if still filming and FDs two+ weeks ago?

It does all seem a bit strange. And we have to remember that Scout is owned by the same company, MediaWorks, as The Bachelor. And even if they are a gossip site they know, as my nana would say, which side their bread is buttered on.

^ Makes me wonder if they are being truthful about the filming, etc? Like you said, if this was NZ Herald those pics would have shown who the girl was on that date. They could just be messing with audiences at this point and pretending filming is still ongoing or at minimum that those photos are recent? Not sure...

@AllAboutLove and @Katiebelle our rolling comments on the episode made me smile.

I am trying to get invested but he doesn't seem invested in anyone. I think it has to do with the averageness of the women. I think he is thinking I can get better in his everyday life. That being said, this was the best episode by far. I liked lara's one on one but the whole time I thought it was Erin. At the cocktail party I realized two different people. My bad but these women look really similar, tall and toothy blondes. I think Storm gets the first cocktail party kiss and I am okay with that because I think she is the only one he really is interested in. They have the most sparks which is not that much. Art and Matilda really spoiled us and that will be hard to live up to. Also is it me or are the dates cheaper? They should have a larger budget considering the success, must have gone to the house and not the dates. Okay the end!

I am with you @robinvi. I don't see Jordan interested that much in anyone either. It feels like he is just going through the motions. I also agree about the budget - it seems less than before and the editing isn't helping since it seems like each episode is edited for that specific episode rather than a continuing story/progression of a completed season. I do think Art and Matilda spoiled us but I actually like all the past girls than these ones - none of them make me invested nor are they great entertainment - at least not yet. I am hoping Jordan has a spark with someone but so far I just don't see one and atm I'm not invested with who he chooses (even compared to all other shows/franchises it doesn't feel like there's any feelings?). Hopefully that changes... will see.

Well, that's strange. Maybe they knew he wasn't interested in anyone at this point and that's why the edit seems off?

I am also with you @robinvi. I am actually struggling to watch the episodes. The girls do seem to be very similar. Amanda in her exit interview (NZ Herald) entertainment magazine section, said she thought Fleur would be F1 and that Fleur was inspiring. Could that be too obvious? as she has received first Rose more that any other girl. Amanda said she was surprised about Naz and her tactics but still considered her as a friend. (I must learn how put the links on here). This has been reiterated by other girls (exited) stating they have been unaware of Naz being duplicitous. Matilda has also stated in Stuff that in her opinion Shari will win and commends her for having a sense of humor. I thought it was quite touching when Jordan gave the letter back to Alicia, when she was sharing it with the others she touched his arm. I am not connecting with any of the girls though I like Alicia and Shari as they seem a bit quirky. Jordan appears to be analytical in his approach and it hard to read his expressions, whether he is truly connecting with any of the girls. The  seemingly low budget outings also make connections more difficult as many activities i.e car racing require the girls to be by themselves rather than interacting with Jordan and each other.Though the girls interact off screen at least when it is onscreen time is available glean information

Ok - so I have just come back from a friends morning tea catch up and all 8 of us watch The Bachelor. So naturally that was a topic of conversation. Two of the girls said that they had heard that he picks Storm (We are all from Christchurch - same place as both Jordan and Storm). One said that she had heard it from her hairdresser and the other said she heard it from another friend. They have no proof but it's interesting that rumour mill has started this early.

They also agreed that this season wasn't as good as last years' and that he doesn't seem that interested in any of the girls. We are all looking forward to the number of girls decreasing so we can see the real connections.

@Katiebelle I remember the same information coming out about Art and Matilda in fact my daughter said her friend who apparently went to the same gym told her who won last year. Turned out to be correct NZ is a small country and rumors and information spread very quickly.

BTW did you notice that gnarly fresh looking scar Jordan had on his arm last night? My girlfriends were talking about it this morning and I just went back and had a look (you can see it very clearly on his picnic date with Kate) and it's at least 4 inches long and quite red. I wonder when he did that? Paint balling or maybe Naz sunk her claws into him?

Since photos were posted of a single date last week with someone who's hair looked like Naz/Alicia. Are you 100% certain filming has ended and Jordan has selected his F1?
