The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Episode 9 - Discussion - #3 *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Vivi--I was not referring specifically to your post. I am making an observation on the thread as a whole.
Things like other cast from other shows etc take the discussion pages off topic. Not that they can't be great discussions--they simply have other topic threads more appropriate for them.

Haha, I used to say Lauren is robotic too.
I understand she could be "rational" in the first few episodes, but it is the FS date already, we still know almost nothing about her and she never seem to be happy/excited/emotional, even with the ILY!! I can't see a girl jn love, I just see a queen wanted to be pursued and win.

I see the way tptb are editing her. Ben was like that last season to me.

Actually, I think she is very uncomfortable with the camera. After the ILUs on the sofa, she pulled him to lie back then hid her face from the camera when almost crying with joy.

That could very well be true Sophie. Between the two, only one has had cams in her face multiple times and knows what it's like to set up for scenes etc.  Personally, I loved it that Lauren got "chased" by Ben, and that she has become the queen of his heart . In RL, that's how I'd like it too vs being someone who might be looking to fill a void asap caused by a cheating Ex. Imo, it does make a difference .

It will be very interesting to see her during media rounds. I am hoping she shows more personality, otherwise my assessments will be correct. She is a robot. Just teasing.

Question: Do we know in what order the LCD/MTP were actually filmed? I know that the FDs were filmed with JoJo first and then Lauren, but were aired to make it look like it was Lauren and then JoJo. Anybody???

Not sure about MTP, but the US Weekly article a while back made it sound like JoJo's LCD was first.

Imo, why would the choice be one extreme or the other? To me a huge part of a successful relationship comes down to mutual respect and an equal partnership. The scales will slide back and forth at times which is natural but overall, they are balanced. 

In this relationship, from what I see on TV and have read or heard Ben say to date, I see him still chasing, reassuring and....well, doing most of the work and I don't see that dynamic changing between them ever. I hope I'm wrong about this. To me, no matter who the couple is, when most of the power is held by one person most of the time, the other person loses who they are and is very unhappy. 

I don't doubt that Ben's choice would be to be married only once and he will work hard at it to make it great, but in no way should he be responsible for the majority of the work, so I hope the dynamic I currently see isn't an indicative of how it will always be.

Just curious, but where have you seen anything about their relationship in real life? I'd like to see that feed too? As far as I know they can't even date out in the open for 2 more weeks.
