I disagree but that's just me. Most couples that have done it haven't worked out. I hope he takes the Kaitlyn approach and does not do it for the sake of his and Lauren's relationship.

Well, Kaitlyn didn't not do DWTS for the sake of her relationship with Shawn, she was just not asked to do it (or had the offer retracted) 

^^ I have watched this show off and on since Alex Michel, who was the very first Bachelor. I still don't understand why they chose him. I rooted for Amanda that season, NOT Trista.

Didn't Sean say he wouldn't do it again if offered...it was really hard on Catherine. But, I don't think it will be the end of Benlo if he did. Is it definite that he is going to? I'd have mixed feelings about it if I were Lauren.

I'm sure if Lauren doesn't want Ben to do it he won't

I think a couple can make it through DWTS if they are committed to their relationship and actually love each other. Jake/Vienna and Chris/Whitney were never gonna last so in the end it probably just broke them up sooner than they would have without DWTS.

Plus the potential of making over $200k if you last long enough is a lot of money.

I have mixed emotions about DWTS. How long is their practice times? The difference I see between the other leads and their F1's is that the F1 weren't from LA and didn't really have work and friends in the area. Lauren has both so why wouldn't it be like both of them going to their jobs? Money wise it would be smart to do.

Yes but Look at the strain it put on Catherine and Sean and just imagine that plus what Lauren went through I just don't want lauren to have to watch him with her woman all over again. The show just ended at that time please focus on her Ben.

Is money or Lauren more important to Ben? He will have to figure that out imo.

This is JMO, but I think that the couples did DWTS and broke up were going to break up no matter what. It just sped up the process. It's an added stress, but it shows the F1 right away how the guy deals with fame and pressure. Life is full of added stresses, so you might as learn to deal with them right way. Jillian said she turned down DWTS to focus on her relationship with Ed and they still broke up! DWTS isn't the reason anyone breaks up, it just quickly reveals if a couple isn't compatible.

But Catherine didn't have work or friends in L.A.. so she probably was lonely during the times when Sean wasn't there. Lauren has Mollie , one of her brothers and friends plus her job. To me that is a big difference having moved many times in my life.

DWTS is a hard offer to turn down money wise.  It would be a nice nest egg for the future.  I'm sure they'll discuss it and decide what is best for them.  While it can put a strain on a relationship, especially a new one, I don't think it would be quite the same situation for Ben and Lauren as the past couples.  All the other F1's moved out and worked from home/apartment (if they worked) while being in a totally new place, cut off from their normal routines and support system.  Lauren's already there, established and would come and go for work all the time.  She has friends and a support system there.  So if she's not busy working, she can still find ways to keep herself busy...not sit around waiting on Ben to finish practicing.   

I don't think being on DWTS and spending all those hours practicing was the only reason those other couples didn't make.  IMO, they never were going to.  DWTS may have speed up the timeframe and caused the breakup to happen earlier, but it was going to happen eventually.  JMO.
