The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Episode 9 - Discussion - #2 *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I just re-watched some parts of the episode. The morning part of JoJo on the bed with Ben is ridiculous because of how lovey and touchey it was. If you listen with headphones, I'm almost positive he says "bye babe" as he's leaving. Barf, Ben what a predicament he put himself in.

I thought he said "love you" when he left...for the 25th time!

The back and forth with the "you are..." "No you are" made me want to hurl.

And that is exactly why a 26-year-old man boy should've never been the Bachelor in the first place. That was the most traumatizing part of last night's train wreck for me. Hard to believe I'm nearly the same age as this manchild.

I just rewatched this scene with headphones on. When they are on the bed, Lauren says that "it feels so good to say that out loud". Ben followed up with something like, "and to you" and the Lauren repeated, "and to you'.

I guess it could mean several things....but could he have told her about JoJo then?

I am the same age as him and it made me embarrassed for him. No, just no Ben. There's a way to talk cute about your girl but that isn't it.

I don't think it's all 26 year olds. I think Ben is just a bit immature and inexperienced when it comes to relationships. He's only had one serious relationship before this and it was from age 20-22. Andrew Firestone and Sean Lowe were about the same age when they were the lead and I don't think they were ever as embarrassing as Ben was. IMO.

At :13 in you can see Lauren's reaction once it sank in what Ben had told her. She started to cry. IMO her excitement chip is actually an emotion chip - same model and stepping level as Ben's I think.

and she touches his face soooo much there He doesnt seem to mind!

Ugh, seriously. That was completely nauseating. I freely admit I'm Team BenLo, but if that was an example of Ben's supposedly improved personality when he's around JoJo? I'll take Lauren all day, every day.

One thing that caught me a bit off guard last night with Lauren was the turtle release .. Praying!! But then when I thought about it .. It was the natural thing to do .. I don't recall ever seeing any form of religious beliefs outwardly shown before..... Definitely showed me their shared values...

I not a very religious person, but I am fairly spiritual. I might have taken a moment of quiet reflection to pray for the turtles, also. I have done this at times when I have come across road kill. Probably TMI for most of you.
