Yes, but that is the premise of the show. Seriously. It an outrageous dating experiment on speed to see what will happen under certain situations. So many normal things become meaningless.
Probably one of the most meaningful things anyone of us should have come away with tonight is what can happen in snug male swim trunks under hot, steamy conditions when you choose not to wear an athletic supporter. Now, IMOAA, that was real and not producer manipulated.   The outtakes should have done some close up/zoom in ITM/PI with Mr. Huggins Jr to get his take on things.

Also, those who mentioned producer manipulation, in what way? Do you think they coerced him to say ILY that many times to both of them? I am really curious to know your thoughts.

I hope not.  I expected more of Ben, but one never knows.  Btw, I bet Lauren's parents just loved watching this episode of her clothes scattered all over the floor in the fantasy suite.  C'mon TPTB...was that really necessary?

^Im confused about this too. I no longer think that it was a case where the TPTB overheard an ILY to JoJo and then made Ben come clean. IMO it seems as though Ben fully knew what he was doing all along and knew he'd said ILY to 2 people. Maybe what Chris meant was more of an 'after the fact we discussed with him that he'd said ILY to 2 people and reminded him of the implications of that.' i dont know...just speculating.

I have never been so uncomfortable as when the 3 of them hugged at the rose ceremony and then were made to hang out and toast to love and chat, etc. IMO the producers forced that moment, but ugh, it was beyond cringe worthy. TPTB were probably prodding easch of them to make a toast about what this week meant to them, etc., so they could watch the girls try and read into what was being said, IMO.

I went into this week thinking the storyline being sold to us in the previews of Ben loving two women and telling both he loved them was more of a red herring, but now i really believe he did love both Lauren and Jojo. He was looking at JoJo the way we've seen him look only at Lauren up until this week, IMO. Im kinda freaking out!

I am obsessing over this season and following this forum and the sluething. I've never posted before but I just had to get some of this off my chest! I believe the spoilers and am so loving Ben and Lauren as a couple, but tonight's show really wasn't what i was expecting and I feel a little but sick about it. I hope Ben gained real clarity between this week and the finale and that he really knows what he's doing. I think BenLo have a real shot at a future together, but this must be excruciating for them to watch/live through again.

Not to worry. Same thing happens every season. The editors are very good at creating doubt and Ben and his loose lips gave them plenty to work with. Next week, he will still be very confused until right before the proposal and then magically, the seas will part and he will have clarity. Hallelujah!!!
