The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Episode 8 - HTD - Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Who thinks Ben did ask for Lauren's hand but not aired? Jojo's, no way. Ben is trying to put that visit in hindsight so he can examine it with 20/20 vision when using foresight.

Her mom's a nurse practitioner. And, that's her biological dad, who's a gastroenterologist. Her brothers are her half-siblings from her mother's previous marriage.

Soraya is a Persian name. Is she from Iran? The sons look somewhat Persian, and the gilded and ornate home décor would be typical.

Interesting that two of the mothers were probably born overseas, since they still have foreign accents. A nice break from all the white-bread people we usually see in the F4. And I say that as the whitiest-white bread person ever.

Still don't believe Caila, she just flipped a switch and now she's in love? And saying she knows Ben is the one? She doesn't know that, there's still others. And the mommy daddy makes her seem like a 5 year old. Also, OMG the screechy high pitched crying would be insane to see a whole season of that, almost seems fake.

I don't have a problem with what they were thinking, it was how they said it that was the problem. Lolo's dad had the same concerns and expressed them in a non-confrontational manner without attacking Ben...and he doesn't have experience with reality tv and cameras. I think it was all a set up and they were willing to go along for screen time and publicity. Not to mention that I think they are hypocrites since the one son basically did the same as Ben was doing. Not liking them and their behaviour...at all. On top of the Jake the fake friendship and her and the ex drama, I find Jojo the most fake out of the bunch.

^^^^^^This^^^^^well said. It's not always what you say, it's how you say it that shows what kind of person you can be. Maybe they should have shown their sis some tough love about doing this type of show , if they're diagreeable.
Hope they enjoy the FD dates and seeing their sister .

I personally like JoJo and didn't think her brothers did anything that crazy at all. Ben's answers to them weren't the greatest so I get it. Especially when we saw him tearing up about Lauren.
I've seen a few people say him and JoJo don't have deep or meaningful conversations but honestly have we seen him and Lauren talk about anything either? I think a lot gets cut. Well I'd certainly hope so because if the only conversations had are what we've seen no one should be in love IMO.
On a side note I was thinking that maybe the phone call Ben makes at the FRC is to Lauren's parents to ask if he can propose. Just a thought I had during this episode. I also think he calls his own parents too because it only makes sense since he did at the start.

I'm starting to believe she may be fake too.  She probably wants to be The Bachelorette.

I don't think he'd be tweeting this if things had gone sour after the show ended. Jmo.
